Starting with the Lord’s Kingdom Authority and Ending with it!

 

GOD’S PERFECT GOVERNMENT: ISAIAH 9:6-7:

For Unto Us a Child is born. Unto us a Son is given; And, the government will be upon His shoulder. And, His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of HIS government and peace there will be no end; upon the throne of David and over His Kingdom. To order it and establish it with judgement and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

 

CRAFTED PRAYER DECREE:

 

Thank You Lord that the government rests upon Your Son’s shoulder. It is Your dominion resting on His shoulder. That dominion will be vast, and forever peaceful; its prosperity will never end.

 

For You are the best and most Wonderful, our Extraordinary Strategist. You are our Counselor. You and You alone are our Mighty God, “El Gibor;” You are eternal; forever with us. You are our “Sar Shalom”…. The Prince of Peace.

 

The greatness of Your government will never end. Your authority shall grow continually, and there shall be endless peace. You will rule with fairness and judgement from the throne of David, for all eternity; establishing and upholding the Kingdom of God; sustaining it with justice and righteousness.

It’s the passionate commitment of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies (the Zeal of Hosts, YHWH) that will accomplish this; that will make this happen!

 

Your power will never end; peace will last forever. You will make the Kingdom grow strong. You will always rule with honesty.  The LORD All-Powerful will make certain that this is done. You are determined to do all!

The LORD’s intense devotion to His people will accomplish this. His reign will be increased. His empire shall be multiplied, and His Kingdom will not end.  

 

A word to watchmen:

All burdens are His, and not ours, to carry. Therefore, we turn the burdens we carry, of our governments, over to His Son. He rules over our nations. He rules over Israel as the God of Israel!  He is the guardian of Israel:  Shomer Israel!

 

A vision:

*ON THE LEFT SIDE OF A PICTURE SCREEN, I SAW THE NATIONS CONSPIRING AND RAGING AGAINST THE LORD, AND AGAINST HIS ANOINTED… PLOTTING THAT THE NAME OF ISRAEL WILL BE REMEMBERED NO MORE!

 

SCRIPTURES THAT CAME TO MIND:

 

PSALM 2:1-2: 

 

WHY DO THE NATIONS RAGE, AND THE PEOPLE PLOT A VAIN THING?  WHY ARE THE NATIONS SO ANGRY?  WHY DO THEY WASTE THEIR TIME WITH FUTILE PLANS?

 

THE KINGS OF THE EARTH TAKE THEIR STAND. AND, THE RULERS CONSPIRE TOGETHER AGAINST THE LORD, AND AGAINST HIS ANOINTED…

 

PSALM 83:1-5:

…. DO NOT KEEP SILENT O GOD! DO NOT HOLD YOUR PEACE. AND, DO NOT BE STILL O GOD! LOOK, YOUR ENEMIES ARE IN AN UPROAR. THOSE WHO HATE YOU HOLD THEIR HEADS HIGH. THEY HAVE TAKEN CRAFTY COUNSEL AGAINST YOUR PEOPLE. CONSULTED AND CONSPIRED TOGETHER AGAINST YOUR “SHELTERED” ONES.  

“COME,” THEY SAY, “LET US DESTROY THEM AS A NATION, SO THAT ISRAEL’S NAME IS REMEMBERED NO MORE.”

WITH ONE MIND THEY PLOT TOGETHER; THEY FORM AN ALLIANCE, A COVENANT AGAINST YOU!

 

*ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SCREEN, LOOKING AT THOSE RAGING NATIONS, IS THE LION OF GOD, ROARING!  HE IS ROARING FROM ZION; THE JEWS WILL FOLLOW THE LORD! HE WILL PROTECT THEM ON THE HIGHWAYS THAT BRING THEM HOME…

HOSEA 11:10:  THEY WILL FOLLOW THE LORD; THEY WILL WALK AFTER THE LORD. HE WILL ROAR LIKE A LION... WHEN HE ROARS, HIS CHILDREN WILL COME TREMBLING FROM THE WEST.

 

JOEL 3:16:  THE LORD’S VOICE WILL ROAR FROM ZION AND THUNDER FROM JERUSALEM; AND THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH WILL SHAKE. BUT, THE LORD WILL BE A REFUGE FOR HIS PEOPLE; A STRONG FORTRESS FOR THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL.

 

IT IS A SPIRITUAL PICTURE OF THE WAR IN THE HEAVENLIES, EVENTUALLY COMING DOWN TO THE EARTH.

 

THESE ARE THE SCENES THAT ARE DEVELOPING ON THE WORLD STAGE.  

 

INFLUENCERS ARE TRYING TO SAY, ESPECIALLY, TO YOUNG AMERICANS, THAT SOMEONE CAN BE JEWISH, BUT ISRAEL AS A NATION IS NOT NEEDED. SO, THEN, WHERE DO THE JEWS GO, WHO, ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE, MUST RETURN TO THEIR HOMELAND?

 

THIS IS THE DECEPTION THAT IS OUT THERE RIGHT NOW!

 

IN OTHER WORDS, IF ISRAEL CAN BE CUT OFF AS A NATION, THEN THERE IS NO WHERE FOR THE JEWS TO FIND SAFETY ON THE EARTH. THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN!  GOD’S PROMISES ARE FOR NOW AND FOREVER!

BUT, WE NEED TO PREPARE FOR ANTISEMITISM/ANTI-ISRAEL HATRED BECOMING MORE HEIGHTENED ON A GOVERNMENTAL LEVEL. THIS THEN AFFECTS PUBLIC OPINION…. AND VICE VERSA.  PUBLIC OPINION AFFECTS GOVERNMENTS, TOO.

ACCORDING TO AN ARTICLE IN THE JERUSALEM POST… IN 2025, JEWISH COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE U.S., UK, EUROPE, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, AND ARGENTINA REPORTED RISING VIOLENCE AND ONLINE ABUSE.

 

JEWISH GROUPS ARE URGING GOVERNMENTS TO ACT BEFORE FURTHER ATTACKS OCCUR.

 

There are several examples of where Jews are being attacked verbally or physically… which is being affected by the lack of government control, or in some cases, government leaders, themselves, are encouraging antisemitism/anti-Israel hatred…

 

A global Jewish community task force, called J7, explained in the J Post article, that Antisemitism is no longer a surge; it is a new normal. 

 

They said: GOVERNMENTS must stop reacting after Jews are attacked, and start acting BEFORE, with real SECURITY funding; with stronger laws. And, social media platforms must enforce their own rules.

PRAYER FOCUSES:

AMERICA:

In the United States, the leading government figure that is rejecting Israel’s sovereignty, and spreading lies about the Jewish State is N.Y. Mayor Mamdani. He recently, not only wanted to arrest Netanyahu, but he also spoke a blood libel against Israel. He claimed that Israel committed genocide against Gazans; with targeted killing of children; starving the people; not allowing humanitarian aid to get to them, and other lies. He is spreading these lies to Influencers throughout the United States, and has an agenda that is rooted, deeply, in the doctrine of the Muslim Brotherhood.

 

Soon after his recent verbal attack on Israel, two people were stabbed in NYC, one of whom was a modern Orthodox Jew. Mamdani is inciting others who feel they can commit crimes against the Jews.

THE UK:

Echoing Mamdani’s call to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, is London Mayor Khan.  He thinks the UK government should enforce the International Criminal Court Warrant, declaring: “People who commit genocide are not welcome in London,” saying he would work with the new Prime Minister of the UK, Andy Burnham, to ensure the law is upheld.

 

Also, in the UK, there was an antisemitic attack on Jews in Manchester. And, a candidate for mayor in Greater Manchester is showing solidarity with the Palestinians, accusing Israel of genocide.  Her name is Geraldine Coggins.

 

An Islamic march filled the streets of Manchester, recently, with thousands of Shia Muslims marching. Furthermore, an Iranian official boasted that Tehran has people in London waiting for instructions, and could easily make London unsafe.

 

Earlier this year, Britain’s advisor to the UK government, Jonathan Hall, said antisemitism has become a “national security emergency.”

 

EUROPEAN ANTISEMITISM:

Israel’s Ministry for Diaspora Affairs put out a report in which they claimed that more than 96% of Jews in Europe have encountered antisemitic sentiments in their daily lives since October 8, 2023, when Israel went to war against Hamas for the massacres in Israel’s southern communities.

 

The UK, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Ireland are all high risk for physical incidents of antisemitism in Europe against Jewish populations.

 

In Italy, there are people hunting down Jews. On-line forums told Italians to report Israeli citizens and Italian Jews who are staying at hotels. The idea of mapping Jews, intimidating Jews, singling out Jewish travelers, and treating a Jewish presence in Italy as a threat, is reminiscent of Europe in the 1930’s.  (See Jeremiah 16:16 about this phrase, “hunting Jews”). 

 

Meanwhile, Germany, where the Holocaust began, continues to record the highest per capita rate of antisemitism.

CANADA:

In Canada, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs warned of,  “foreign state interference and the exploitation of domestic institutions by extremist networks.”

 

Israel’s Foreign Minister, Gideon Sa’ar, recently addressed his concern over news from Toronto of more attacks against Jewish businessmen.  He said the latest attacks were part of a long line of violence and intimidation against the Canadian Jewish Community. He called on the Canadian government to confront this violent wave of antisemitism in Canada.

ARGENTINA:

In Argentina, the government’s alignment with Israel has generated “conspiratorial antisemitic backlash from the Left, and from fringe nationalist movements.”

 

The J7 Jewish task force is demanding that world governments do more than just symbolic gestures.

 

INTERCESSORS, WE ARE AT A TURNING POINT HERE!

 

THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST:

Countries like Iran, Turkey, and Syria, and United Nations institutions – all participate in government sponsored antisemitism/anti-Israel hatred.

It’s against this background of hate towards the Jews that intercessors must be diligent in their prayers, and most of all prayer strategies, reminding the Lord of His promises for Israel and the Jewish People.

A word about the recent NETANYAHU-TRUMP MEETING IN WASHINGTON:

There are those in the Trump Administration that think Netanyahu is pushing Trump to engage in an all-out war with Iran. Certain political figures see Netanyahu as detrimental to Trump’s policies on Iran. We need to keep the two leaders in prayer, as decisions made about Iran, now, could backfire on Israel, as well as on Jewish populations in the West.

 

Continue to pray that the unique U.S.-Israel relationship will stand strong, and that believers will have greater influence in the halls of power in both nations.

WHERE DO WE PUT OUR FOCUS?

We could focus on the evil schemes behind global messaging in the West, both on the Right and the Left, that points to Israel and the Jewish People as the fault for every problem that arises. But, I have sensed that the greatest way we can prepare, as intercessors, is to stand on God’s word and His promises.

 

It’s the biblical counter-attack to the lies and distortions we hear.

 

Decreeing scripture, standing on God’s covenant promises for the return of the Jewish People to their homeland, is a place to begin.

 

But, overall, the power of the Kingdom of God to ultimately intervene and overcome all enemy plans, puts us in alignment with the LORD.

 

We are the Body of Messiah on this earth, standing on the Lord’s Kingdom promises, to be fulfilled!

 

SCRIPTURES TO DECREE OF THE PROMISES OF GOD TO HIS PEOPLE:

DECLARING EZEKIEL 36:24, 28  (REGARDING THE JEWISH PEOPLE IN THE DIASPORA):

FOR I WILL TAKE YOU FROM THE NATIONS, AND I WILL GATHER YOU FROM ALL OF THE LANDS, AND I WILL BRING YOU INTO YOUR OWN LAND…  THEN, YOU WILL LIVE IN THE LAND I GAVE YOUR ANCESTORS; YOU WILL BE MY PEOPLE, AND I WILL BE YOUR GOD.

 

PROCLAIMING EXODUS 6:8 (RETURNING TO THE HOMELAND):

I WILL BRING YOU INTO THE LAND I SWORE TO GIVE TO ABRAHAM, ISAAC, AND JACOB. I WILL GIVE IT TO YOU AS YOUR VERY OWN POSSESSION. I AM THE LORD!

 

DECLARING MICAH 4:1-2  (GOD’S PROMISE TO THE NATIONS AND ISRAEL):

IN THE LAST DAYS, THE MOUNTAIN OF THE HOUSE OF THE LORD, WILL BE ESTABLISHED AS THE CHIEF OF THE MOUNTAINS; IT WILL BE RAISED ABOVE THE HILLS, AND ALL NATIONS WILL STREAM TO IT. AND, MANY PEOPLE WILL COME AND SAY, ‘COME, LET US GO UP TO THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD, TO THE HOUSE OF THE GOD OF JACOB. HE WILL TEACH US HIS WAYS, SO THAT WE MAY WALK IN HIS PATHS.’ FOR THE LAW WILL GO FORTH FROM ZION, AND THE WORD FROM JERUSALEM.

 

DECLARING PSALM 145:13  (REGARDING THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY):

YOUR KINGDOM IS AN EVERLASTING KINGDOM, AND YOUR DOMINION ENDURES THROUGH ALL GENERATIONS. THE LORD IS FAITHFUL IN ALL HIS WORDS AND KIND IN ALL HIS ACTIONS.

 

DECLARING DANIEL 7:27:

THEN THE SOVEREIGNTY, DOMINION, AND GREATNESS OF THE KINGDOMS UNDER ALL OF HEAVEN WILL BE GIVEN TO THE PEOPLE, THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH. HIS KINGDOM WILL BE AN EVERLASTING KINGDOM, AND ALL RULERS WILL SERVE AND OBEY HIM.

 

PROCLAIMING REVELATION 11:15:

THEN THE SEVENTH ANGEL SOUNDED HIS TRUMPET, AND LOUD VOICES CALLED OUT IN HEAVEN: ‘THE KINGDOM OF THE WORLD HAS BECOME THE KINGDOM OF OUR LORD, AND OF HIS MESSIAH, AND HE WILL REIGN FOREVER AND EVER.’

Today, globally, Israel is viewed as THE AGRESSOR, whose goal is to kill innocent women and children who are oppressed…  (i.e., the Palestinians).  This is not true!

 

How does the Bible view war and fighting?

 

In Old Testament times, it was the Jewish shepherd boy, David, who killed the big Goliath, and who rose in stature, power, and anointing to become King David. As king, David commanded powerful, strong fighters who GOD directed to conquer Israel’s enemies.

 

David's Mighty Men were loyal warriors who helped establish King David's kingdom.

 

In 2 Samuel 23:5-6, we read David’s final words. It is as if he is justifying being the Commander of a mighty army that God approved of. David says:

 

Verse 5: “If my house were not right with God, surely He would not have made with me an everlasting covenant, arranged and secured in every part; surely He would not bring to fruition my salvation and grant me my every desire.”

 

Verse 6: “But evil men are all to be cast aside like thorns, which are not gathered with the hand. Whoever touches thorns uses a tool of iron or the shaft of a spear; they are burned up where they lie.”

 

THAT’S PHYSICAL WARFARE, OFTEN DIRECTED BY THE LORD, TO KING DAVID AND HIS MIGHTY MEN!

1 Chronicles 11 describes who these mighty men were, how God directed them, and what they conquered in obedience to the Lord.

 

BUT, WHEN IT CAME TO THE SPIRITUAL ASPECT OF THE LORD’S RELATIONSHIP WITH DAVID, REGARDING GOD’S HEAVENLY KINGDOM, THE TERMS TO DAVID WERE DIFFERENT.

1 Chronicles 22:8: “Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, ‘You have shed much blood and fought great battles; you are not to build a house for My Name, because you have shed so much blood on the ground before Me.’”

 

GOD’S CHOICE WAS SOLOMON, A MAN OF PEACE, TO BUILD A GLORIOUS TEMPLE FOR THE LORD – A PLACE OF WORSHIP; A PLACE WHERE HOLINESS RULED.  A PLACE WHERE HEAVEN TOUCHED EARTH.

1 Chronicles 22:9: “Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies all around. His name shall be Solomon, for I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days.

 

Solomon said in 1 Chronicles 22:9:  "You know that because of the constant wars my father David had to fight, against the enemy countries all around him, he could not build a Temple for the worship of the LORD his God, until the LORD had given him victory over all his enemies.

 

THIS IS A MODEL OF WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW, IN THE TIMES AND SEASONS WE ARE IN.  ISRAEL HAS BEEN IN A TIME OF WAR FOR OVER 1,000 DAYS, ACCORDING TO ISRAEL’S CHIEF OF STAFF.   DURING THIS TIME, ISRAEL HAS BEEN TRYING TO DEFEAT ITS ENEMIES SO IT CAN BE AT REST; AND, SO, EVENTUALLY, GOD’S TEMPLE CAN BE BUILT!

 

In the New Testament, the concept of physical warfare is mainly transformed into spiritual warfare. Those who are born again, and part of God’s eternal kingdom, carry a unique calling as spiritual warriors, fighting against demonic forces in heavenly places… against the principalities and powers of the air – this is who we fight as watchmen on the walls.

 

2 Chronicles 10:3-4: “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.  The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

 

MANY OF YOU HAVE BEEN WAGING WAR IN THE HEAVENLIES ON ISRAEL’S BEHALF! 

GOD, HIMSELF, WAGES WAR ON ISRAEL’S BEHALF!  THIS IS WHERE THE NATURAL AND THE SPIRITUAL WAR COME TOGETHER –- IN THE LORD HIMSELF!

Exodus 15:3: “The LORD is a Warrior; the LORD is His name.”

 

Isaiah 42:13: The LORD will go forth like a warrior, He will stir up His zeal like a man of war; He will shout out, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail [mightily] against His enemies.

 

Recently, when Israel marked 1,000 days of continuous combat, the IDF saw it as a “significant and strategic juncture.”

So… ISRAEL IS NOT THE AGGRESSOR WHO LOOKS TO KILL INNOCENT WOMEN AND CHILDREN, AND OPPRESS PEOPLE.

 

ISRAEL’S ARMY, WITH THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY BEHIND IT, IS CONQUERING HIS ENEMIES THAT SURROUND HIS LAND, AND, WE STAND SHOULDER-TO-SHOULDER WITH ISRAEL AND THE LORD IN THIS BATTLE!

*A big question right now is whether we are entering a time of peace after a long time of war?  Is this God allowing Israel some rest from its enemies?  The birth pangs of Matthew 24 have been longer, with few breaks in-between. 

(After the latest developments, it seems that we remain in a time of war – a ceasefire, but war.)

 

Matthew 24:6-8: “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.  Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.  All these are the beginning of birth pains.

ISRAEL’S CURRENT MILITARY SECURITY DOCTRINE:

 

*Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been in continuous battles. This could be changing because of the current fragile ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon; and, the MOU agreement between the United States and Iran.

 

*Soon after the Hamas massacre of southern Israeli communities, that October, Israel’s generals wrote a new military security doctrine. Previous years had been spent building anti-missile defense systems, such as the Iron Dome, the Arrow, David’s Sling, and the new Iron Beam, to use against Israel’s enemies. 

 

*But, October 7, changed everything. Instead of a policy that included appeasement, containing conflicts, and deterrence – without a goal to fully win wars -- Israel chose to go on the offense. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began speaking of "peace through strength."  No longer was he talking about "land for peace." 

 

*Today, the Israeli government adheres to a doctrine that believes in decisive victories. This may include pre-emptive strikes against the enemy, if there is a major threat to Israel. The goal is weakening and defeating terrorist regimes to a point of their surrender. And, when terrorists go back to building their infrastructure, Israel does not wait before knocking it down, again.

 

This could all change, depending on the Israeli elections (which party wins; who becomes prime minister; and what military security doctrine is adopted). 

 

PRAYER POINTS:

 

PRAY that the Lord protects that which concerns His beloved land, revealing to His people His supernatural acts in war and in peace.

 

Psalm 138:8: “You will do everything You have promised. LORD, Your love is eternal. Complete the work that You have begun.”

 

Proverbs 19:21: “Many plans are in a man’s heart, but the purpose of the LORD will prevail.”

 

STAND IN THE GAP FOR ISRAEL:

 

Psalm 35:1: “A Psalm of David:  Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me.”

 

Declare over Israel: Isaiah 41:11-12: “Behold, all who rage against you will be ashamed and disgraced; those who contend with you will be reduced to nothing and will perish. You will seek them but will not find them. Those who wage war against you will come to nothing.”

 

*Today, after fighting with its enemies for 2.5 years, with few breaks, Israel has maintained a military presence:  in South Lebanon; on the Golan Heights (the Syrian side of Mount Hermon); in an enlarged security zone on the southern Syrian borderline/demilitarized zone with Israel; and in specific areas of Gaza. God’s covenant land is stretching on Israel’s behalf. 

 

The IDF claims this is not a land grab. It is taking defensive positions for the protection of Israeli citizens in border communities. Without this protection, Israel could lose its current sovereignty over its border towns, because of terrorist infiltration's.     

*Meanwhile, the nations do not understand, and only see Israel as the aggressor. But, biblically, these border lands will one day become a part of the nation of Israel, when the Lord’s covenant promises are fulfilled. 

 

PRAYER POINTS:

 

PRAY that Israelis understand that it is not because of having a great army that these battles are won. It is because the LORD commands the armies of heaven and earth, as He fights for His holy land! Soon, Israel will know this through experience, as nations become less and less supportive, and work more and more against the Jewish State.  Then, the manifest presence of the Lord will intervene for the salvation and survival of Israel!

 

Proclaim Israel’s victories because of the God of Israel and His mighty heavenly army:

 

Deuteronomy 20:4: “For the LORD your God goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.” 

 

Jeremiah 1:19: “They will fight against you but will never overcome you, since I am with you to deliver you, declares the Lord.”

 

Declare over Israel’s citizens: 2 Timothy 4:18: “And, the Lord will rescue me from every evil action and bring me safely into His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

  

 *There is grave concern on the part of those who watch over Israel’s internal security.  The concern is that Judea and Samaria have been infiltrated by terrorists, along with their massive arm supplies, and these terrorists are preparing for a conflict that could endanger mixed Jewish and Arab cities; border towns throughout the land; moshavim; kibbutzim; and vulnerable cities, towns, and neighborhoods inside the country. 

 

Here are examples of some issues that occurred recently:

 

*TERROR COMMANDOS ATTEMPTED TO ENTER ISRAEL FOR MAJOR ATTACKS. ONE OF THOSE COMMANDO UNITS TRIED TO INFILTRATE ISRAEL FROM SYRIA TOWARDS THE GOLAN HEIGHTS. THE TERROR CELL WAS ON ITS WAY TO CARRY OUT A MAJOR ATTACK INSIDE ISRAEL, AND THE IDF ELIMINATED THEM.

 

*IN ANOTHER INCIDENT, YESTERDAY, A TERROR TUNNEL WAS DISCOVERED NEAR JERUSALEM. AND, LAST WEEK, ISRAELI SECURITY FORCES UNCOVERED A LARGE NUMBER OF WEAPONS HIDDEN AT THE BOTTOM OF A WATER WELL IN AN ARAB VILLAGE NEAR JERUSALEM. MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF RIFLES, AMMUNITION, EXPLOSIVE DEVICES, REMOTE DETONATION EQUPMENT, AND CELL PHONES WERE DISCOVERED.

 

*ISRAEL IS ALSO CONCERNED ABOUT WORSENING CONDITIONS IN GAZA WHICH IS CAUSING GAZANS TO PROTEST AGAINST HAMAS. THE IDF THINKS THAT HAMAS COULD ATTEMPT TO REDIRECT THE DEMONSTRATIONS TOWARDS ISRAELI POSITIONS, RESULTING IN CLASHES WITH ISRAELI TROOPS.

 

*HAREDI ORTHODOX RABBIS, WHO ARE AGAINST THEIR ORTHODOX YESHIVA STUDENTS BEING DRAFTED INTO THE WAR, ARE CURSING ISRAELI DEFENSE OFFICIALS. THEY ARE VIOLENTLY OPPOSING THOSE WHO ARE PUTTING ORTHODOX MEN IN PRISON FOR AVOIDING THE DRAFT. THE ULTRA-ORTHODOX ARE ALSO CAUSING MASSIVE DEMONSTRATIONS ACROSS ISRAEL, DISRUPTING TRAFFIC ON MAJOR HIGHWAYS, AND FIGHTING POLICE AND OTHERS. THIS IS TEARING APART ISRAEL’S FRAGILE SOCIETY.

   

PRAYER POINTS:

 

We pray for a solution to the issue of the draft and army service among the ultra-Orthodox citizens in Israeli society. Declare a compromise of “unity” that solves the problems, as a “house divided against itself cannot stand!”  (Mark 3:25).

 

Declare: 2 Chronicles 20:17 over Israel’s Defense Forces (the IDF), citizens, and the land: “You need not fight this battle. Take up your positions, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out and face them tomorrow, for the LORD is with you.”

 

Jeremiah 1:19: “They will fight against you, but will never overcome you, since I am with you to deliver you, declares the LORD.”

 

Deuteronomy 31:6: “Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or terrified of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

 

Deuteronomy 7:21: “You shall not dread them, for the LORD your God is in your midst, a great and awesome God!”

 Romans 8:31: “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

 

 

ISRAEL-LEBANON SIGNED AGREEMENT:

 

There is renewed hope between both countries!

 

There have been false starts in the past, and more failure than success. How can this become the most victorious time in the history of these two nations?  With the help of prayer!

 

In order for this agreement to be successful, the biggest priorities will be:  courageous acts on the part of Lebanese government officials to:

 

*Demand the exit of all IRGC members, as well as Iranian diplomats, who are currently in Lebanon. 

 

*Disarm Hezbollah, not just in south Lebanon, but throughout the country.

 

 Hezbollah has kept the Lebanese people prisoners in their own nation.

 

*Vet out the Hezbollah fighters that are entrenched in the Lebanese army, so the Lebanese army can fully carry out its mission to protect its citizens, while not endangering its Israeli neighbors.

 

*Provide the Lebanese people, that are poor, with food and humanitarian aid, so that they are not having to be dependent on the Shiites, associated with Hezbollah, to provide for them.  (Some of this is happening already through Lebanese Christians). 

 

PRAYER POINTS:

 

*We pray for the LORD to bring strength, wisdom, and encouragement to the people of Lebanon, and to their leadership, and that He will free them from the stronghold of Iran's takeover of their land.  

 

*We pray that Israel will not be seen as the one breaking this agreement if the priorities in its implementation, suddenly, become Israel's withdrawal from south Lebanon, not the disarming of Hezbollah, first. 

 

*May Israel not be seen as the obstacle to peace, when the aim of the IDF is protecting Israel's northern communities from armed Hezbollah terrorists.

 

*We pray that the Lebanese people will act boldly, and cooperate in not allowing Hezbollah refuge in their cities and towns, in order for the peace process to advance correctly.  

 

IDENTIFICATIONAL REPENTANCE:

 

There needs to be a time of Identificational Repentance, in prayer, addressing the following:

 

*Israel's broken promises to protect the South Lebanese Army in 2000, when Israeli government officials hastily withdrew the IDF from the Security Zone.

 

*The disobedience of the Lebanese government in not implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1701, after the Second Lebanon War of 2006.

 

This time of repentance could help heal the wounds of mistrust between Israel and Lebanon!
