APRIL 14, 2020 PRAYER UPDATE
Israel and the Nations
DECLARATION OF SCRIPTURES ABOUT THE LORD:
“We praise you, God, we
praise you, for your Name is near; people tell of your wonderful deeds.”
(Psalm 75:1).
JEREMIAH 32:17:
“Oh, Lord GOD! You yourself made the
heavens and earth by your great power and with your outstretched arm. Nothing
is too difficult for you!”
PSALM
97:9: “For you, LORD, are the Most High over all
the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.”
PSALM 45:6:
“Your throne, O God, will last for ever
and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of Your kingdom.”
PRAYER FOR THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT:
DECLARATIONS:
ISAIAH 57:15: “The high and lofty One who lives in
eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with
those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of
the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.”
We pray that the politicians of
this government, and the one to come, will be repentant and humble in this
season!
PROVERBS 21:1: “The
king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the LORD; He guides it
wherever He pleases.”
JEREMIAH 23:5-6: “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the
LORD, “When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch. And, He will reign as
king and act wisely. And do justice and righteousness in the land. In His days
Judah will be saved. And, Israel will dwell securely. And, this is His name by
which He will be called, ‘The LORD our righteousness.’ ”
ISAIAH 56:1: “This is what the LORD says: ‘Maintain justice
and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness
will soon be revealed.’ ”
PROVERBS 21:3:
“To do what is right and just is more
acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.”
“By the Lord’s doing, kings reign, and rulers decree what is just.” (Proverbs 8:15)
PSALM 11:7: “For the LORD is righteous, He loves
justice; the upright will see His face.”
Justice precedes His
salvation and righteousness… soon to be revealed!
GOVERNMENT ISSUES:
Israeli President Reuven Rivlin forced Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz to meet.
Gave an extension to form a government only until Wednesday night, April 15,
2020. Right in the middle of the last night of Passover, they have to come to
terms. Netanyahu mentioned these days are
when Israelis remember the miracle of the Red Sea parting during the Exodus!
If they cannot come to terms, the mandate
goes to the Knesset, where any MK can be selected to be prime minister. And,
would have 21 days to form a government. However, it looks like there will be
an announcement, soon, that a national unity government has been formed.
One of the
sticking issues has been about who will take the position of the JUSTICE
MINISTRY. Control of this ministry is extremely important to Netanyahu with his
upcoming trial, having been indicted on corruption charges. And, it’s extremely
important to Gantz and others who want to make sure the tenants of democracy
are upheld in Israel’s new government (which they feel are not being upheld in
the current caretaker government).
Netanyahu is determined that Israel will
be the first and the best at everything, even in the handling of the
Coronavirus. He wrote a book years ago about Israel being a light to the
nations. So, this is part of his DNA. It’s also in scripture. Israel will arise
and shine and the glory of the Lord will be upon her! Netanyahu is handling
this COVED-19 crisis in the strength of his will and his own right arm. God will do it through His anointing upon
Israel in His timetable!
CORONAVIRUS:
DECLARATION TO ISRAEL AND THE WORLD: GOD IS IN CONTROL!
ISAIAH 41:10:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do
not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will
uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
ISAIAH
5:15-16: “So man is brought low, humankind is humbled, and the eyes of the
arrogant ones are humbled; But the LORD of Heaven’s Armies will be exalted by
His justice. The holiness of God will be displayed by His righteousness.”
We declare: “Hear the word of the LORD, you descendants of Jacob, all you clans of
Israel!” (Jeremiah 2:4)
ISAIAH
33:5-6:
“The
LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and
righteousness. And, He will be the stability of your times. A wealth of salvation,
wisdom and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is his treasure.”
PRAYER
POINTS:

FOR THE ECONOMY. Unemployment
is at 26%. The government is trying to get people back in the workforce.
PSALM 85:13:
“The LORD will indeed provide what is
good, and our land will yield its increase. Righteousness will go before Him to
prepare the
way for His
steps.”

PRAY FOR THE ULTRA-ORTHODOX COMMUNITY – AS
THEY ARE HAVING A HARD TIME OBEYING THE RULES AND RESTRICTIONS OF THE ISRAELI
GOVERNMENT.
HARVEST OF SOULS:
INTERNATIONAL
LEADERS IN THE BODY OF MESSIAH SENSE THAT WHAT IS TO FOLLOW, AFTER WE GET A
REPRIEVE FROM THE CORONAVIRUS, IS A HARVEST OF SOULS. SO, WE WANT TO PRAY FOR A GREATER DESIRE IN OUR HEARTS TO SHARE THE
“GOOD NEWS” WITH OTHERS; AND, A VISION FOR SEEING ALL ISRAEL SAVED!
ACCORDING TO 1 PETER 3:15: “But in your hearts revere the Messiah as Lord. Always be prepared to
give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that
you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”
DECLARATIONS ON SALVATION:
The unveiling of the Lord to the Jewish
People, worldwide – in the Diaspora, and in Israel:
ISAIAH 45:15:
“Truly you are a God who has been
hiding himself, the God and Savior of Israel.”
WE DECLARE: NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION; NOW
IS THE TIME: A LIFTING OF THE VEIL OVER THE EYES OF GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE:
(As one intercessor said: While we all
need to put on a mask when going outside, we ask you, Lord, to “unmask” Your
face to many of Your people during these days!)
WE DECLARE:
JEREMIAH 31:7: “Now
this is what the LORD says: ‘Sing with joy for Israel. Shout for the greatest
of nations! Shout out with praise and joy: Save your people, O LORD, the
remnant of Israel!’ ”
ISAIAH 46:13:
“I am bringing My righteousness near, it
is not far away; and My salvation will not be delayed. I will grant salvation
to Zion, my splendor to Israel.”
ISAIAH 26:1:
“In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: ‘We have a
strong city; God makes salvation its walls and ramparts.’ ”
ROMANS 11:26-27:
“…and
so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, “The Deliverer will
come from Zion He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. ‘This is My Covenant with
them, when I take away their sins.’ ”
PROCLAIM: PROVERBS 14:34: “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.”
THE TWO NETS:
SALVATION AND ALIYAH – BOTH HAPPENING!
LUKE 5:3-10:
“Then
He (Jesus) got into one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put
out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the
boat. When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out into the
deep and let down your nets for a catch." But Simon answered and said to
Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at
Your word I will let down the net." And when they had done this, they
caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to
their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and
filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he
fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man,
O Lord!" For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of
fish which they had taken; and so also were James and John, the sons of
Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be
afraid. From now on you will catch men."
WE ACKNOWLEDGE BEFORE THE LORD:
2 CORINTHIANS 2:15:
“For we are to God the pleasing aroma of
the Messiah among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.”
EZEKIEL 20:41: I
will accept you as fragrant incense when I bring you out from the nations and
gather you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will be
proved holy through you in the sight of the nations.
JEREMIAH 29:11-14:
“For I know the plans that I have for you,
declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future
and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will
listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me
when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares
the LORD, and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the
nations and from all the places where I have driven you, declares the LORD, and
I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.”
Very appropriate to this Passover season
we are in, is to tie in the previous Exodus -- where the Jews saw signs and
miracles -- to the Aliyah over the past 70 years, and into the future.
DECLARATION:
JEREMIAH 23:7-8: “Therefore behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when they will no longer
say, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of
Egypt, But,
As the LORD lives, who brought up and led back the descendants of the household
of Israel from the north land
and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ Then they will live on
their own soil.”
IN CONCLUSION:
GOD IS ESTABLISHING HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ON
EARTH. THEN, COMES SALVATION AND ALIYAH.
WILL THIS NEW GOVERNMENT RULE WITH JUSTICE
AND RIGHTEOUSNESS?
2 SAMUEL 23:2-5:
“The Spirit of the LORD spoke through me; His word was on my tongue. The
God of
Israel spoke; the
Rock of
Israel said to me: ‘He who
rules the people
with justice, who
rules in the fear of
God, is like the light of the morning at sunrise of a cloudless
dawn, the glistening after the rain on the sprouting grass of the earth. Is not
my house right with God? For He has established with me an everlasting
covenant, ordered and secured in every part. Will He not bring about my full
salvation and my every desire?’ ”
