Israel and the Nations

 

 

In mid-May 2022, reportedly, there was a direct launch of the S-300 Russian anti-missile defense system aimed at Israeli jets; the first time Russia manned this system since it was delivered to Syria in 2018.

This action should be viewed in the context of Russia's anger at Israel, in March 2022, for not supporting Russia in the UN General Assembly decision to adopt a resolution condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Israel sided with Ukraine, along with 140 other countries.

After that, Russia's Foreign Minister accused Jews of killing Jews during the Holocaust. This was considered an anti-Semitic comment by Israel. It crossed the red line, diplomatically.

In that sense, there has been a deterioration in Israel-Russia diplomatic relations, which may have led to this direct missile launching against Israel by Russia over Syria.

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz went to Washington, quickly, voicing to the media that Iran could install enough centrifuges in the next week to build a bomb. 

It's probable that Gantz spoke to the U.S. Administration about Russia's military advances in Syria, which could lead to a disintegration of the "de0confliction mechanism" between Russia and Israel, leaving the skies vulnerable to war in the region.

Also, Israel is currently carrying out one of its biggest military drills. Could it be a signal to Russia, Iran and Israel's enemies that Israel is close to some kind of pre-emptive strike against its enemies on its borders with Iran's proxies -- Hezbollah, Hamas? And with Russia's proxy -- Assad and his regime in Syria?

There is also the possibility that Gantz spoke to his counterpart from Saudi Arabia, who met with U.S. officials the day before he did. Is this towards a closer Israeli alliance with Arab countries in the Middle East, to show that there is even a stronger axis in the region against the unholy alliance of Iran-Russia, as well as other countries that want to destroy Israel?

These are continued signs towards the biblical Ezekiel war mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and 39:

It's clear in Ezekiel 38:11, that Sheba and Dedan (the region of Saudi Arabia and some of these Arab countries), are asking those enemies coming from the north why they are doing so.

It indicates the strategic alliance of Israel with these so-called "moderate" nations of the Abraham Accords -- of which Saudi Arabia is expected to join. 

We also understand that the unholy alliance spoken about in the Bible is Persia (Iran), God and Magog (Russia?), Tomer (Turkey?), Libya, Ethiopia (and/or Eritrea/Sudan?), etc.

In addition, Ezekiel 38:13 makes it clear when this war will happen.... wen Israel is living at peace in unwalled villages. Not now!

Prayer Points:

*Pray that the Lord's enemies will be held at bay until such a war happens, according to the Lord's timing.

*Pray that the Lord restrains Israel's enemies from trying to bring a war before the Ezekiel war -- trying to stir up military action that would weaken Israel's resolve.

*Pray that the U.S. will not abandon Israel, militarily, before an onslaught of wars and rumors of wars. Pray that America stands by Israel's side.

*Pray that the Lord will raise up Godly leaders in the U.S., Israel and the nations, who understand the prophecies, and prepare ahead for what is eventually coming.

*Pray that the Lord will give Israel and its alliances strategies on how to thwart Iran's plans to build a bomb. Pray that He will bring confusion to Iranian operatives that will cause all Iran's centrifuges to break-down and spin out of control.

Scriptures:

A word of exhortation for those who have insight, pray, and document their visions:

Habakkuk 2:1-3:  "I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what He will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint (or, what He will say to me, and how I should answer when corrected). Then, the LORD replied:  "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it (that a runner can carry the correct message to others). For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay."

In mid-May 2022, the IDF launched "Chariots of Fire," a 4-week military exercise simulating attacks on multiple fronts, in the air, on land, by sea, and in cyberspace. Every branch of the Israeli armed forces -- air force, army, the navy, and intelligence -- was involved. It is considered one of the largest drills Israel has ever practiced.

Isaiah 21:6-8: "... the Lord said to me, 'Put a watchman on the city all. Let him shout out what he sees. When he sees chariots with teams of horses, riders on donkeys, or riders on camels, let him be alert, fully alert. And, the watchman called out, 'Day after day, I have stood on the watchtower, my lord. Night after night, I have remained at my post."

Ezekiel 33:7:  "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me."

 

According to 1 Chronicles 12:32, pray that Israel will raise up sons of Issachar, who will know what Israel should do! Pray that believers will have influence in governmental realms, so that their words are heard and implemented. Pray for the Body of Messiah to have greater access to foreign policy makers and heads of state, in order to be a helping hand to Israel, when crucial decisions are needed.

 

Psalm 33:10-11:  "The LORD foils the plans of the nations; He thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But, the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations.

 

Conclusion:  news analysis; prophetic understanding of biblical events; prayer points; scriptures -- are helpful in praying through God's will -- in alliance with Him!

APRIL 10, 2022 PRAYER UPDATE

Israel and the Nations 

 

  RALLY THE TROOPS! 

 

 The Commander, the Captain of the Armies of Heaven, the Lord of Hosts, goes before us. The God of the armies of Israel. (Psalm 46:7; Joshua 5:13-15; 1 Samuel 17:45).

 

 

Two weeks before Ramadan started, there were quiet prophetic warnings from believers that, during the Muslim holiday, the enemy would be stepping up his attacks. There were already warring factions in the Palestinian territories confronting one another, as well as the Israeli police. So, the demonic forces were beginning to manifest. 

 

 

We had learned from an Israeli official a few months earlier, and reported it in a news article, that Israel was preparing for clashes again, similar to the 11-day war in May 2021. The assessment was that the war coming would repeat the May 2021 pattern, but would be worse. 

 

 

As we prayed into this, and, after the recent terror attacks in Israel, we read in the news that, Israeli forces were again confronting Palestinian factions in the West Bank to stop terror attacks from coming into main cities in Israel.

 

 

The battle, so far, has not been unleashed into a major conflagration. It’s being fought in the Palestinian territories… first with enemy forces warring against each other; and, then with the enemy fighting Israeli forces. 

 

 

Some of the battle has come into Israeli cities… with recent terror attacks in Jerusalem, Beersheva, Hadera, Bnei Brak, and Tel Aviv. At the Damascus Gate there have been confrontations, daily. (It’s a powder keg there). 

 

 The warnings should be heeded because the threat is increasing. 

 

 There has also been a government crisis in Israel going on. It’s like the whirlwind before the storm.

 

 The Lord reminded us that last year, during Ramadan, we experienced a perfect storm. It was right around the time of Shavuot. We recorded the events at that time.

 

 Now, we sense we are on the verge of another perfect storm.

 

 From April 15-17, 2022, there will be a convergence of three of the major religions of this land. 

 

 We are already in the midst of Ramadan. 

 

 April 15, in the evening, begins Passover. It is also “Good Friday.” 

 

 April 17, 2022, is Resurrection Day Sunday (Easter) on the Gregorian calendar. 

 

 So, before April 15-17, 2022, there should be a rallying cry of increased intercession!

 

 The sense is that, currently, the demonic spiritual forces have been striking, but they have not, yet, unhinged what they are planning for this time. We believe this is due to the prayers already going forth from the Body of Messiah in the land and internationally. 

 There needs to be a rallying cry for intercessors to pray, NOW, in a concerted corporate effort. 

 Rally the troops! For our weapons of warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:4). For we wrestle, not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12). 

 

 Let’s faithfully proclaim this truth, in the power of God, with His weapons of righteousness, in the right hand and the left. Let’s prayerfully declare that He can, and He will, through our prayers, stop the plans of the enemy over His holy city of Jerusalem, and His Covenant land, Israel. 

 

May we, as a corporate people under the hand of Almighty God, fight well in the Lord’s battle. The battle IS the Lord’s. 

 

Let God arise; let His enemies be scattered. And, let those who hate Him flee before Him. (Psalm 68:1). 

 

We are reminded that worship goes with intercession. Pray that our corporate worship and intercession will be a time of answered prayer. And, as the enemy is resisted, he will be contained and flee from this land. Amen! 

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear. The Lord of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge."  (excerpts from Psalm 46)

APRIL 4, 2022 PRAYER UPDATE

 

Israel and the Nations

 

PRAYER AND WORSHIP TO OUR LORD AND KING!

Psalm 118:1: “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercies endure forever.”

 

LORD, the prayer of the upright is Your delight. We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and, we are in Him who is true – in His Son, Yeshua the Messiah. He is the true God of eternal life.

 

PRAYER POINTS:

 

We declare:

 

Matthew 7:7: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.”

 

John 14:13: “And, I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

 

1 John 5:14-15: “Now, this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And, if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him.”

 

RAMADAN:

The Muslim holiday of Ramadan began Saturday, April 2, 2022.  Two weeks before that date, terror attacks began happening in Israel. There were two attacks in early March in Jerusalem that were hardly reported. Those involved Palestinian stabbings and a car ramming. Then, in mid-March there were a series of attacks, beginning in Beersheva, followed by one in Hadera, Bnei Brak, and Tel Aviv, towards the end of March.  In one week, 11 Israelis lost their lives, including a Christian police officer from Nazareth.

 

Most of the attacks have, reportedly, been taking place by Israeli Arabs who have been radicalized by ISIS doctrine.

 

The IDF is supporting the Israeli police in major cities. In early April, soldiers were standing by with machine guns on a corner of downtown Jerusalem. Others could be seen walking down Jaffa Road in Jerusalem, showing a display of force, to deter terrorists from striking Israeli cities.

 

PRAYER POINTS:

 

Psalm 91:4: “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you will find refuge; His faithful promises are your armor and protection.”

 

Ephesians 6:12: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

 

We declare that the saints of the living God are putting on the full armor of God, so that when terrorism tries to approach Israel, we are able to stand our ground, and we stand firm!

 

According to Romans 13:12, the night is over, the day has drawn near. So, we proclaim that the Israeli Arabs will lay aside their deeds of darkness. We, ourselves, put on the armor of light.

 

UKRAINIAN ALIYAH:

 

It is the biggest rescue in 30 years. The Israeli Ministry of Immigration expects 6,000-10,000 immigrants a month. So far, more than 10,000 Jews have immigrated, mostly from the Ukraine and some from Russia.

 

There are thousands of Ukrainians and Russians that are increasingly showing interest in immigrating to Israel. This is an answer to prayer! 

 

Both Jewish and Christian organizations are working together to provide more temporary hotel rooms and hospitality homes in countries on the border of Ukraine, specifically, Poland, Romania, Moldova, Hungary, and Slovakia.

 

There are 10,000-12,000 hotel rooms reserved by the Israeli government for new immigrants coming into Israel. There is a concern about where the Ukrainians and Russians will go after the month is over. More housing is needed!

 

MK Pnina-Tamano-Shata has instructed the Ministerial Committee on Aliyah and Immigration not to delay anyone who wants to come to Israel. She has initiated negotiations with the Finance and Housing Ministry in Israel, for the release of urgent housing budgets for the immigrants. So far, the Jewish Agency has paid for 65 airplanes that flew Ukrainian Jews to Israel. Also, 400 buses from Ukraine brought Jews across the borders. And, 500 people want to make Aliyah from Belarus, as well.   

 

PRAYER POINTS:

 

Isaiah 43:5-6: “Fear not, for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and I will gather you from the west. I will say to the north, give up! And, to the south, keep not back! Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth.”

 

(verse 21): “Even everyone that is called by My name. For I have created him for My glory. I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”

 

Dear Lord, for Your holy namesake, we are grateful for the answer to prayer that Aliyah is happening at this time, and this could be a record year of your Chosen People coming home. We know that according to scripture, You are doing this not for the sake of the Jewish People, but for Your own holy namesake!

 

You will take the Jewish People from among the nations, gather them out of all countries, and bring them into Your own land!  You will sprinkle clean water on them, and cleanse them from their idols.

 

PRAYER POINTS:

 

Ezekiel 36:26-28 :  “I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statues, and you will keep My judgements and do them. Then, you shall dwell in the land that I gave to Your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.”

 

Ephesians 6:14 says that the belt of truth is buckled around our waists. So, we proclaim truth into this whole situation in Ukraine, in Russia, and throughout the world!
