Israel and the Nations

GPW News and Prayer Update

 

Israel’s 76^th birthday as a modern independent Jewish state was celebrated yesterday throughout the nation.

 

Today, is Nakba Day – what the Palestinians call the “day of catastrophe,” referring to the birth of modern Israel in May 1948.

 

Why couldn’t the Palestinians have been peace-loving inhabitants of the land? Some are. But, not the political force behind them.

 

 *PRAY that the Palestinian people will come out of bondage into freedom, so they can be blessed in blessing Israel, and not cursed in cursing Israel!  (Genesis 12:3).

 

 THE “STATE OF THE STATE” IN ISRAEL, BEGINNING WITH THE NORTHERN FRONT:

 

Israel is not just fighting a military war, but also a political war, a diplomatic war, a media war, and a war for public opinion. On all fronts, Israelis are being challenged and stretched.

 

Recently, ALMA Research and Education Center had a conference. This group has military experts that monitor the movements of Iran and its proxies on Israel’s northern border. They are exposing the goals of Iran. And, their eyes are centered on finding and sharing the truth!

 

 *STATISTICS:  By land, it takes 25 hours from Iran to Lebanon, about 1,850 kilometers. When the Iranians go through Syria, they have to take the long way, as the U.S. has troops in a key part of Syria. 

 

 *PRAY that the U.S. remains a defender of Israel in Syria.

 

*Syria is a key ally of Iran. Iran’s main military effort is entrenching and establishing itself in Syria.

 

 *As Iranian Shiites travel the route from Iran, to Iraq, to Syria, they garner relationships with the civil populations – especially through NGO’s.

 

 *The basic purpose of going through nations from Iran, to Iraq, to Syria, to Lebanon, is securing the Iranian Shiite corridor (some would call it the “Shia Crescent”). Through this corridor comes goods, services, pilgrims, and weapons.

 

 *At naval ports along the way, such as Latakia in Syria, weapons are unloaded.

 

 *There are aircraft routes through Damascus and Aleppo airports.

 

 *These are the Iranian “corridor” operations, and the Iranians operate them like an accordion.  If the Iranians are being attacked on land in the corridor, they focus on air and sea. And, if they are attacked by sea, they focus on land and air. And, so on… It’s constantly changing in intensity.

 

 *There is a Banias naval port in Syria. Through there are oil ships. The port is used for smuggling weapons. On March 11^th, 2024, a senior naval Iranian officer was seen at this port in charge of receiving weapons systems.

 

 *The Iranians utilize Russian infrastructure in Syria. A Russian naval base is used as an air base to smuggle Iranian weapons into Syria.

 

 *The Russians have a “safe zone” in Syria used by Iran since May 2023.

 

 *The Weapons Development Industry in Syria is called CERS.  Israel is concerned about its activities, which have not been thwarted, despite main military sites being bombed in Syria.

 

 *Among other things, the CERS centers are being used for the development of joint Iranian-Syrian and Hezbollah advanced weapons systems. The centers are responsible for developing and manufacturing chemical and biological weapons. Researchers at ALMA who are monitoring these CERS sites, state that Israel must strike and demolish all these sites and infrastructure on Syrian soil.

 

 *The fact that Syria has knowledge and development of chemical weapons needs to be addressed by the international community.

 

 *Iran continues to try and secure the corridor from Syria to Hezbollah in Lebanon.

 

 *Iran wants to use Jordan against Israel. There are “special purpose units” in the Iranian Shiite corridor near Jordan.  Hezbollah and Syria export weapons through Jordan.

 

Today, Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Israel Katz, declared: “Jordanian authorities have uncovered an Iranian terror network composed of Muslim Brotherhood activists and Hamas terrorists, which aimed to smuggle weapons into Jordan to destabilize the Jordanian regime. Additionally, the network planned to smuggle weapons into Palestinian Authority territories to build a Hamas terror infrastructure and open another front against Israel.”

 

 *Since October 7^th, Iran has been unifying its alliances. It has also gained in strength in the information war.

 

 *Iran wants to reach Panama, and is collaborating with Venezuela, Nicaragua, Boliva and other countries in the backyard of the United States. There are Iranian ships that want to reach Miami. Hezbollah criminal activity remains in the Brazil-Uruguay triangle area, backed by Iran.

 

 *Jewish targets in Argentina (the Israeli Embassy and a Jewish Community Center) were allegedly hit by Hezbollah in the 1990’s because of this vulnerable triangle area where Hezbollah terrorists have been training and have power in the territory.

 

IRAN’S STRATEGIC PATIENCE:

 *The Iranians want to surround Israel from their Shiite corridor. They think they will eventually reach their goal. So, they take their time, building capabilities in Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. Hezbollah in Lebanon, for example, is much stronger than it was after the Second Lebanon War of 2006.

 

 *The Iranian strategy is that if they have strategic patience, time will be on their side.

 

 *Statistics:  There have been over 1,640 total attacks in northern Israel from October-May, 2024. About 250 strikes per month. About 50-60 a week. Almost all these attacks have been by Hezbollah against civilian infrastructure.

  

*Hezbollah has about 65,000 short-range missiles. Currently, there is a Hezbollah project. They are trying to make old Hezbollah rockets into precision rockets. These precision rockets can reach up to 125 kilometers.

 

*IN PRAYER, DECLARE THIS PROJECT NULL & VOID!

 

*It’s a serious situation for Israel, with scenarios of thousands of precision and non-precision weapons hitting key places like the Krayot and Haifa. It includes Hezbollah coming out of underground tunnels, close to Israel’s northern border, and launching rockets and going back underground. It includes Hezbollah’s strategic inter-regional plans from one area of Lebanon to another. The transfer of equipment and forces from north and south of the Litani River.

 

 (See the Isaiah Chapter 17 prophecy against Syria. And, the Ezekiel War of Ezekiel 38 and 39).

 

 *Researchers said the major expanded war with Israel may breakout now. But, if not (because of some kind of diplomatic agreement), then they see this happening by the end of 2026.  

 

 *THROUGH PRAYER, THE LORD CAN CONSTRAIN SUCH AN ATTACK; DELAY IT; AND/OR WEAKEN IT!

 

 *ALMA researchers say that the international community needs to develop a strategic plan, with Israel, to fight this enemy in the north!

 

*There is talk about a need for pioneers in peripheral areas; and a call to young people to come live on the borders and fight!

  

*ALMA researchers’ state:

 

Americans have a ticking clock for the end of the war – their elections. We have a ticking clock for the end of the war – the start of the next school year. What is the Iranian clock? No one knows."

 

 *PRAY:  It’s an impossible situation…. BUT GOD!  THE GOD OF ISRAEL WILL REDEEM HIS PEOPLE!  LORD, show Your power and strength to Israel and the Nations! The greater the challenge to Your land, the greater Your protection; and the greater redemption of Your people! Nothing is too difficult for You!

 

*PRAY and DECLARE:

Psalm 27:1: “The LORD is our light and our salvation— whom shall we fear? The LORD is the stronghold of our lives— of whom shall we be afraid?”

 

Psalm 62:6: “HE is our defense; we shall not be moved!”

 

Hosea 1:7: “But I will have mercy on the house of Judah and will rescue them by the LORD their God, and will not rescue them by bow, sword, war, horses, or horsemen.”

 

Psalm 140:7: “Sovereign LORD, our strong Deliverer, You shield our heads in the day of battle.”

 

Isaiah 26:4: “Trust [confidently] in the LORD forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner]; for the LORD GOD is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].”

 

Isaiah 33:6: “In that day He will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD will be your treasure.”

 

Psalm 28:7: “The LORD is our strength and our shield; Our hearts trust in Him, and we are helped; Therefore, our hearts greatly rejoice. And, with our song, we will praise Him!”

 

Isaiah 45:17: “Israel has been saved by the LORD, with an everlasting salvation; She will not be put to shame or humiliated for all eternity.”

 

Isaiah 45:25: “In the LORD all the descendants of Israel shall be justified, and shall glory.’ ”

 

Isaiah 60:19: The sun shall no longer be your light by day; nor, for brightness shall the moon give light to you; But the LORD will be to you an everlasting light. And, your God your glory!

 

ANTISEMITISM IN THE WEST; INFIGHTING IN ISRAEL:

 

Currently, there is a conflict aimed at the Jewish People in the West, with increased acts of antisemitism. Most of the clashes taking place are on college campuses in America.

 

In the midst of intense difficulties in Israel, there is infighting within educational institutes, non-profit/non-government organizations (NGO’s), and with members of the government and the Knesset. Israeli Jews overseeing these institutions are looking for an increase in their budgets from the Israeli government, while the government deals with an already large increase in its defense budget.

 

*PRAY that Israelis, and Jewish people, worldwide, would find peace and rest during constant turmoil and trauma.  

 

In a recent Knesset meeting, there were testimonies from U.S. students, and from heads of American Jewish organizations about the threats from a coalition of unholy alliances that are blocking Jewish students from getting an education in America. Furthermore, this unholy alliance is blocking Jewish professors and scientists from completing their dissertations or publishing their papers.

 

*PRAY regarding Jeremiah 16:16, as there is now evidence of the hunters on the scene in the West. Pray that the Lord would woo His Chosen People home before the enemy tries to hunt them down. 

 

Israel as a nation just went through Holocaust Remembrance Day and Israel’s Memorial Day, in sadness and sorrow.  It was followed by Israel’s Independence Day, but the activities that should have been full of joy and gladness were overshadowed by the current wars in Israel both in the north and in the south of the country.

 

There are other fronts that the IDF is fighting, with little help from the nations. In fact, a majority of nations just voted for a Palestinian State in the UN, while the Biden Administration delayed arms shipments to Israel. The White House finally released the arm shipments, but Israelis feel that their nation stands in isolation. They are being misunderstood in their intent on fighting the enemy and defeating him -- in order for Israel to survive!

 

There is a remnant of believers who stand with Israel in this battle. You have not given up, and neither have we!  Thank you!

 

As Mother’s Day was celebrated in the West on Sunday, May 12, 2024, these scriptures seemed appropriate for the mothers of Israel:

 

“But, Zion said, ‘The Lord has forsaken me. And, the Lord has forgotten me.’ Can a mother forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely, they may forget. Yet, I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands. Your walls are continually before Me.”  (Isaiah 49:14-16).

 

“A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning. Rachel weeping for her children. And, refusing to be comforted, for they are no more.”  (Matthew 2:18)

 

May the LORD comfort the mothers in Israel; those who have lost sons and daughters in these current battles that still rage in this nation. Comfort the families of those whose loved ones are still in captivity in Gaza. Comfort all who mourn in this nation… mothers, fathers, children, family members and friends. (Isaiah Chapter 40).

 

*PRAY that the love of the LORD, His compassion, mercy, and His presence, fills this land. Thank You LORD for Your Word that says Your people will obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sadness will flee away!  (Isaiah 51:11).

DELAYS AND TIME STOPPING, DIVISIONS AND SIGNS:  In Israel and the Nations

 

DELAYS in the spiritual realm are often GOD delays:

*He allows delays for His purposes, as well as to test the hearts of men and nations.

 

DELAYS in the natural realm -- What we are seeing when it comes to Israel:

*Heads of State, presidents, prime ministers, defense and diplomatic officials, and negotiators… meet with Israeli officials, here and abroad. They offer, or demand, their diplomatic solutions which continue to delay Israel’s military actions against its enemies.

*Israel’s military plans have been thwarted by the nations that hold Israel back from carrying those plans through.

*Israel’s ground invasion into Gaza was delayed by a few weeks because of world leaders coming to Jerusalem with diplomatic responses and suggestions.

*The Rafah invasion has been delayed until, maybe now, mainly because of whatever leverage the U.S. Administration has been using against the Netanyahu government.

*The expansion of the war in the north has been delayed, to allow the diplomatic arena to play out.

*Residents returning to their homes in the north and the south has been delayed. For over 6 months many of them are living, with their whole families, in a small hotel room. Or, have found places to stay with relatives and friends, temporarily. But, they want to go back to their own homes!

 

WATCH ISRAEL CLOSELY:

The Lord is showing “His hand” In this hour, if we will look and see. The God of Israel is signaling the Jews in the nations, especially in the west, to return to their homeland, “eretz Israel.”

 

The lawlessness happening on university and college campuses, is a sign that God will fulfill His scriptures of the release of the Jews from the nations. They will return to Israel, from the west, with trembling!  May their eyes and ears be opened, and may their feet follow the LORD, as He roars over them in the nations to return to Zion! (See Hosea 11:10).

 

THE STOPPING OF CLOCKS AND TIME:

 

In a recent prophecy, a brother in the Lord mentioned the stopping of the Big Ben clock in London on April 24.

On April 23, in Jerusalem, a home clock stopped working and a personal watch stopped working at the same time. Both were fixed and both started working again, Then, on April 24, about two hours after the Big Ben clock stopped, both stopped working again!

On April 25, the home clock started working, again, but the personal watch was off and on again.

 

INTERPRETATION FROM THE LORD ON CLOCKS STOPPING IN ISRAEL:

 

In a personal way, we must spend time in self-reflection and prayer. Are we, as a household, doing everything we can to prepare for the Lord’s Kingdom purposes to be fulfilled in the nation of Israel (in your nation, as well)?

 

In a national way, on April 24, the sense was that, symbolically, we were drawn to TIME stopping in Israel. A majority of Israelis are living “in the moment.”  Plans change, “moment by moment”.  

 

Some Israelis stopped functioning, normally, on October 7, 2023. Those Israelis have not known how to move forward. They are stuck.

 

Currently, citizens in Israel, cannot easily plan. We are “in the moment” of God doing something that needs to be done. It’s a GOD MOMENT here! So, we must wait until He completes His actions, in this season. 

 

Few Israelis know how to plan, right now, or what to do. For example:

 

TRAVEL:  Most of the international airlines (with the exception of El Al), cancelled flights right before Passover. Many Jewish families could not get to Israel for Passover, and many Israelis could not get to their families abroad.

 

What is similar today, to the actual biblical version of the Israelites in Egypt?

THE PASSOVER:

 

*Exodus 12 starts out with all these regulations about the lamb. If you were a small household, then you had to involve your neighbors -- calculating and dividing up the portions. That took time…

 

*There were restrictions about what kind of animal the Israelites were able to eat.

 

*They had to bring the lamb into the house, and the lamb was part of their family for 4 days. Then, they had to slaughter the lamb!  Can you imagine how the children must have felt about their new pet, which then got slaughtered so quickly? 

*As the regulations are implemented, the Israelites had a lot of work to do in a short period of time.

 

(1) First, they had to slaughter the lamb at twilight; at dusk.

(2) Then came the ritual of spreading the blood on the doorposts, without delay, as the Lord’s judgement was coming to the land.

(3) Next, they had to roast the lamb and eat it, preferably all of it. Otherwise, the next day they would have to burn what they didn’t eat, and since they would be leaving Egypt, that got complicated in terms of time and efficiency.  

(4) Not only did they have to roast a lamb, but they also had to put together bitter herbs, and begin to make the bread without the yeast. The Israelites were in a hurry!

 

*Basically, they were cooking and eating their food while getting ready to leave their homes.

 

*Clothes on; cloak on; sandals on; staff in hand. Eat in haste... It was a perfect recipe for “acid reflux!”.

 

*If that wasn’t enough… after eating, they would be hearing, at midnight, the screams in Egyptian households of the slaying of the first born!  Who could sleep through that?

 

*In the middle of the night, Pharoah summoned Moses and Aaron and asked them to get out of Egypt. They all missed a night of sleep!

 

SCRIPTURES:

 

Exodus 12:42: “Because the Lord kept vigil (a solemn observance) that night, to bring them out of Egypt… on this night, all the Israelites are to keep vigil (a solemn observance) to honor the Lord for the generations to come.”

Another version of Exodus 12:42: “That night the LORD kept watch to take them out of Egypt. (All Israelites in future generations must keep watch on this night, since it is dedicated to the LORD.)”

 

*The directives are specific, and for those watchmen who observe and honor Passover, look at the timetables carefully!

 

Other key verses when the Israelites had fled Egypt… Exodus 14:10-13:

“As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord. They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!”

Moses answered the people: “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today, you will never see again.  The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Isn’t this what God has been saying over and over again -- about being still and seeing our deliverance out of the hands of our enemies. This is part of our battle strategies.

Remember Jesus resting in the boat during the storm; (Matthew 8:24). Remember Elijah in the cave hearing the still small voice; (1 Kings 9:12-13). Remember the mountains toppling into the sea; waters roaring; mountains quaking; nations raging; kingdoms crumbling; and devastation on the earth. (Psalm 46). What is His answer? Be still and know that I am God!

 

MOSES SAID IT: “THE LORD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU. YOU NEED ONLY TO BE STILL!”

*God could have made it easier at the time of the exodus. He could have allowed the Israelites to plan a quiet meal at home, and take their time, and prepare to move out of Egypt. However, the Lord didn’t give them much time at all!

 

*How often we want to plan ahead? Yet, we don’t get clarity. HE wants to direct our every step!

*He is preparing us, but for a new walk in Him. “It’s moment by moment.” We will know what to do in the midst of the circumstances that bring on the birth pangs. We will see "order" in chaos!

 

*We MUST be ready, and “on alert,” while at the same time… BE AT EASE!

 

THE PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS – A good example:

MATTHEW CHAPTER 25:1-13:

 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.  Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.  The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take along any extra oil.  But the wise ones took oil in flasks along with their lamps.  When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

HOW DO WE HANDLE DELAY? THIS IS ANOTHER KIND OF DELAY.

 

THIS PASSAGE ALSO MENTIONS SLEEP. THERE IS A TIME TO BE AT REST, CALM, AND SLEEPING. BUT, NOT ON YOUR WATCH FOR THE LORD!  WHY? BECAUSE IT COULD BE THE HOUR WHEN YESHUA COMES!

 

*At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet Him!’

*Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

 *‘No,’ said the wise ones, ‘or there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

*But while they were on their way to buy it, the bridegroom arrived. Those who were ready went in with Him to the wedding banquet, and the door was shut.

*Later the other virgins arrived and said, ‘Lord, lord, open the door for us!’

*But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I do not know you.’

 

*Therefore “keep watch,” because you do not know the day or the hour.”

 

THE ADJUSTING OF TIME, ITSELF, IS PART OF OUR ‘KEEPING WATCH’ AS IT IS A SIGN AND WONDER FROM THE LORD:

In Joshua 10:13, we read that the sun stood still, and the moon stopped until the people had revenge upon their enemies. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.

 

May God do the kind of miracles He did at the time of the Passover (the parting of the Red Sea); and in the time of Joshua (stopping the sun and moon) – as a sign and wonder for us to see and prepare ourselves, as we keep the watch of the Lord!

We praise God for an unexpected quiet Ramadan, which is officially over now. The convergence, this year, did not turn violent. There were a few terrorist attacks, but for the most part, it was orderly on the Temple Mount and in Jerusalem. We thank the Lord for this!  We know that we must keep up our prayers as the enemy may have a delay tactic in place, yet to be revealed and released.

 

Israel has had recent successes in killing high level terrorists that were intent on the annihilation of Israel:

 

*On Wednesday, April 10^th, Israel killed three sons of Ismail Haniyah, the most senior political leader of Hamas, who lives in Qatar. The Hamas terrorists, and other family members, were killed by an Israeli air strike on the Gaza Strip, near a refugee camp in Gaza City.

 

*On April 1^st, Israel killed seven IRGC members of Iran’s elite corps who were meeting in Syria. This was done in the compound next to the Iranian Embassy in Syria, considered by Iran to be sovereign Iranian territory.

 

PRAYER ALERT:

*Israel is now on the highest of alerts, bracing for a possible Iranian retaliation strike on targets in Israel, or globally.

 

*The IDF has cancelled leave for its air force pilots, and its combat soldiers, and has deployed air defense systems throughout the country.

 

*Israel has threatened Iran with “mutually assured destruction capabilities,” if Iran attacks Israel directly.  

 

*The U.S. chief of CENTCOM is currently in Israel, to assure the Israeli government that the United States will back Israel if Iran attacks. This is the U.S. Central Command responsible for defending and promoting U.S. interests in the Middle East, as well as Asia, including the strategic waterways in these areas.  (Iran has threatened to close the Straits of Hormuz, which would initiate a regional war if they decided to do this).

 

*Iran could use the Houthi’s to strike Eilat again. Pray for Eilat!

A recent report on “X” said: “According to a U.S. official, the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group and several other Coalition Naval Vessels have moved off the Coast of Western Yemen and in the direction of the Northern Red Sea in order to more easily defend against any Large-Scale Missile and/or Drone Attack launched against Israel or U.S. Navy Ships by the Houthis, Iran, or other Iranian-Backed Proxy Groups.”

 

*Geo-politically, if you look at a map of the Middle East region, we are seeing the advancement of the Iranian “Shia Crescent” -- a move that is meant to conquer Israel by establishing proxies in nations that surround Israel.

 

*In this regard, it was reported, last week that Iran is trying to cause unrest and instability in the Kingdom of Jordan, in order to try and overthrow the monarchy there. This would allow Jordanian Palestinians the ability to rule and reign in Jordan.  

 

Pray for stability in Jordan! Israel’s eastern border with Jordan is volatile. Terrorists have attempted to breach that border often. Keep a watchful eye on this part of the Middle East region, in prayer!

 

THE CURRENT MILITARY SITUATION IN ISRAEL (from military experts):

 

*There are still thousands of Hamas terrorists in Gaza, and 4-6 brigades that have not been eliminated by the IDF. Hamas controls Rafah and they control the Philadelphi Corridor in the south, where they are able to smuggle weapons from the Sinai into Gaza. Arms are continuing to flow through the tunnels from Egypt to Gaza.

 

*There have been several attempts by Iran to push weapons into Judea and Samaria, through their Iranian proxies.

 

*There has been an increase in the mobilization of Israeli Arabs by radical Palestinians. This is threatening the radicalization of Israeli Arabs in what Israel calls “the 5^th column.” This is part of the high alert inside Israel.

 

*There is, reportedly, a Russian presence of soldiers on the Syrian Golan Heights.

 

*Israel still sees a larger war ahead in the north, and is actively preparing for it. (Soldiers serving in the south were released to their bases and homes for a few weeks. Many just got their orders to go to the north to train).

 

*Israel is seeking allies to help them defend the country in the north. Israel feels alone, otherwise.

 

*Israel is better prepared now in regard to weaponry, military preparedness of units; practicing and training for the northern scenario.

 

*A diplomatic solution is still possible.

 

SIGNS AND SIGNALS INTERNATIONALLY:

Recently, we saw the reports of the earthquake that devastated parts of Taiwan; then, the earthquake near LEBANON, N.J.  that was felt in NYC and Long Island, N.Y.  Then, several photographs of lightening striking the torch of the Stature of Liberty, as a signal warning. Another sign was the recent solar eclipse in North America.  These signs point to several prophecies in the Bible. But, the one that stands out that is most prevalent right now is this:

 

Matthew 24:6-8: "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of the birth pangs."

 

The Lord highlighted:  "Nation against nation; kingdom against kingdom."

 

We are getting a clearer picture of what could lead to Psalm 83.

But, the good news is: "The kingdoms of this world shall become the Kingdom of our God and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and forever.” (from Revelation 11:15).

 

BATTLE STRATEGIES AND PROMISES IN WAR (expanded from post published in April 2024):

OUR CURRENT POSITION AS PROPHETIC WATCHMEN IN THIS HEAVENLY BATTLE:

*Having Done Everything, Stand Firm! (See Ephesians 6:13).

This is the hour we are in right now! At our post, standing firm, affirming that God is in control).

 

*Keep In Mind WHO reigns:

 

Exodus 15:18: “The LORD reigns forever and ever!”

 

*Stay In The Shelter Of The Most High God; Take Refuge In Him; Abide Under The Shadow Of The Almighty; Stay Under His Wings, Until The Disaster Has Passed: 

 

Psalm 91; Psalm 57:1; Isaiah 2: verses 10, 19, 21. 

 

Isaiah 2:19: “People will flee to caves in the rocks and to holes in the ground from the fearful presence of the LORD and the splendor of His majesty, when He rises to shake the earth!”

 

Isaiah 26:20: “Go into your houses, My people, and shut the door behind you. Hide yourselves for a little while until God's anger is over.”

 

*LISTEN, To The Still Small Voice Of The Lord: The Lord was not in the wind; He was not in the earthquake; He was not in the fire. Then, came a gentle whisper. He was in the gentle whisper -- in the still small voice).  (See 1 Kings 19:11-13).

 

*This Is The Lord’s Answer To The Chaos and Cataclysmic Events:

HE is our refuge and strength; do not fear; dwell in His Holy Place; God is with us; He is our fortress. BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD!  (See Psalm 46).

 

*Who Is The LORD, And What Has He Promised To Us:

 

Exodus 15:3: “The Lord is a Warrior. The LORD is His name!”

 

*WE DECLARE: You, Lord are the Head of the Heavenly Hosts; You, Lord, are the Commander of the Armies of Heaven; and of the Armies of Israel!

 

*HE IS GOING TO PROTECT US: 

 

Malachi 3:6: “For I am the LORD, I do not change [but remain faithful to My covenant with you]. That is why you, O sons of Jacob, have not come to an end.” 

 

He is not going to allow us to be consumed in Israel, no matter how strong the enemy seems!

 

*GOD HAS A SECRET POWER FORCE:   It’s His right hand and His right arm.  When the enemy overplays his wicked hand, the LORD uses HIS own right hand to strike down and devastate His opponent.  (See Exodus 15:6).

 

Psalm 44:3-4: “It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your face, for You loved them.”

 

*WHOSE SIDE IS GOD ON during these fiery trials and battles: Joshua 5:13-15.

 

*WE DO NOT FIGHT AGAINST FLESH & BLOOD, but against the principalities and powers of the air.  (See Ephesians 6:12).

 

*IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, we will see His victory over our enemies: 

 

Psalm 118:10: “Many enemies were around me; but I destroyed them by the power of the LORD!”

 

*OUR ROCK EQUIPS US FOR THE BATTLE:  Psalm 144:1-2;  2 Samuel 22:35).

*HOSTILE NATIONS ARE SURROUNDING US. HERE IS GOD’S STRATEGY:  

 

Psalm 18:39: “You give me strength for the battle and victory over my enemies.”

 

Psalm 18:47: “He is the God who pays back those who harm me. He subdues the nations under me.”

 

*HE IS OUR SHIELD AND GLORY: We will win:  

 

Psalm 3:3: “But thou, O LORD, art a shield about me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.”

 

Psalm 60:12: “Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies.”

 

(As believers in Messiah Jesus, we are assured a victory, because of who HE IS! Whatever we do in preparing for the conflict, and then entering the battle, it is only “through God” that we can do valiantly, and be fearless and bold!)

 

*HERE ARE OUR MARCHING ORDERS:

Joshua 1:9: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

 

This is how we fight our battles: IN HIM!
