Israel and the Nations
GOD’S VICTORIES ON BEHALF OF ISRAEL:
Thanks be to God for the victories and miracles that took place because of millions praying around the world during the Isaiah 62 prayer initiative!
We just experienced a battle that was on a single front with one single terrorist group, Islamic Jihad.
Hamas, miraculously, did not enter the battle!
There were very few injuries or casualties. We still mourn with those who lost loved ones. We pray healing for those who were wounded.
Considering that more than 1,000 rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel, and that the IDF accomplished all they set out to accomplish, it was a great victory for this nation.
Israel’s pre-emptive strike meant that the IDF was ahead in every way, and accomplished its goals over its enemy. Also, there was a lot less “spin” and “accusations” in the media and in diplomacy.
We attribute it to the millions praying. And, we call on all those who are participating in these 21 days, to keep praying after May 28th. The battles are not over for Israel. We need your prayers!
As intercessors continue to pray, worldwide, in various spiritual war rooms throughout the world, the battle over Israel will be in the heavenlies, with less fall-out on the earth.
To protect God’s land and His people, these prayers are essential.
PRAYER POINTS:
Lord we pray that the Body of Messiah throughout the world will truly heed Your Word, declare it, proclaim it, and believe it, on Israel’s behalf.
We pray that there will be an outpouring of God’s Spirit on this land; salvation coming forth; signs and wonders in the heavens; miracles and healings on the earth – You can do this Lord!
This is our petition before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! As we declare this, let’s also believe that persistent prayer will continue for Israel after this 21 day period:
ISAIAH 62:6-7: “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”
Let’s also declare ISAIAH 62:1 before the Lord, and entreat Him, daily, for this to happen:
“For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, And her salvation as a lamp that burns.”
There are many promises for Israel in Isaiah Chapters 60-66. We cannot stop declaring God’s word over His Holy City; over His beloved Zion! He hears the prayers and the praises of the brethren.
Lord, extend Your shield, continually over Your land and people! Amen!
Thank Him for His continued security and protection over Israel! Sing praises and give thanks to the Lord for what He has done! And, His mercies endure forever!
UNITY IN THE GOVERNMENT; UNITY IN THE BODY OF MESSIAH:
There were an estimated 100,000 protestors on the streets of Tel Aviv, May 20, 2023, which has to do with the judicial reform movement in Israel. We are being shown again, the schism and divide in Israeli society that needs great healing!
We declare that God, Himself, will bring a just balance to the Israeli government. The Lord hates an imbalance of weights… He hates when the scales are tilted. He looks for balance. He looks for justice and righteousness to prevail.
PRAYER POINTS:
Lord, we pray for an alignment of “right order” in the current Israeli government, and a balance between the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of this government.
According to ISAIAH 9:6-7, the government rests on Your shoulder!
PSALM 89:14: “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; love and faithfulness go before You!”
PROVERBS 21:3: “To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.”
All of a man’s ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart!
We pray that the Netanyahu government looks to You, Lord, and not to man, for judicial reforms that are best for Israeli society. We pray that the coalition does right in Your sight, O God. That they apply just weights and balances; that the decisions made are pleasing to You.
We also pray that the government budget will pass, but not by sacrifice and compromise. But, by what is right and just and best for the Israeli people!
In 1 SAMUEL 15:22, we read: “But, Samuel declared; ‘Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obedience to His voice? Behold, obedience is better than sacrifice…' ”
May the Israeli government obey the LORD their GOD and heed to His voice! Hearken Israel to the voice of Almighty God – “Shema Israel!”
Lord, let Your voice be heard loud and clear in the halls of Israel’s government – concerning what is right and what is wrong in Your sight, O God!
PROVERBS 15:8: “The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.
We declare ISAIAH 1:16, to Israel from the LORD: “Wash and cleanse yourselves. Remove your evil deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil!”
Proclaim MICAH 6:8 to the Lord, together, as we pray for this current government in Israel. The LORD is looking for a just government in Israel; with leaders that follow His ways; for He desires mercy and not sacrifice; a knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.:
MICAH 6:8: “He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you; but, to act justly; to love mercy; and to walk humbly with your God?”
When we asked the Lord whose side He was on in the struggles regarding this current government, He gave us this answer: JOSHUA 5:13-15:
“Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in His hand. Joshua approached Him and asked, “Are You for us or for our enemies?”
“Neither,” He replied. “I have now come as Commander of the LORD’s army.”
Then Joshua fell face down in reverence and asked Him, “What does my Lord have to say to His servant?”
The Commander of the LORD’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.”
And Joshua did so.”
As the Body of Messiah, here in the land, we must stand together in unity. As intercessors, we cannot take sides in this battle, because we will neutralize our prayers.
So, we align ourselves with God’s army, and we see ourselves as standing on His holy ground.
The Lord will make a way where there is no way, and bring the balance of what is needed. Our responsibility is to pray that “right order” will take place; and that “justice and righteousness” will prevail.
A House Divided Cannot Stand! So, Lord, we pray for unity in Israeli society, and unity among the believers, so Your House Will Stand!
RECONCILIATION:
There is a need for reconciliation, right now, between Orthodox and Secular Jews. Between the Netanyahu government and the Opposition. Between Arabs and Jews. Between believers in the land, especially the leaders, who do not see “eye to eye” regarding the scriptures, especially regarding the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, we pray for an outpouring of God’s Spirit on all of Israel – believers and non-believers, so that we have the mind of the Messiah! So, that all disputes are settled. So, we can see healing in the land.
Declare: 2 CHRONICLES 7:14:
“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land.”
PRAYER FOR THE LAND:
We pray Lord that as we humble ourselves, and seek You, and are cleansed of sin, that You will, indeed, hear the cries of Your people, who have turned their faces towards Your face. We pray that You will heal this land of all rifts; of all divisions; of all unforgiveness; of all offenses; from all of us! That You will bring us together, once again, in harmony, as a people – Your people, who are called by Your name. May we turn from the ways of the world, and turn to You -- our Rock and Redeemer, our God in whom we trust!
PRAYER FOR THE BODY OF BELIEVERS IN JERUSALEM:
We pray for city-wide unity in Jerusalem. We ask, Lord, that you bring us together – intercessors, congregational leaders, in unity, praying for our nation; praying for the peace of Jerusalem.
We proclaim PSALM 122:8, as we continue in brotherly love: “For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, ‘Peace be within you.’ ”
God wants peace within the walls of Jerusalem, and that means peace in relationships, of those who are praying ON THE WALLS – in the watchtowers as watchmen. We ask You, Lord, to deepen relationships in the natural and in the Spirit, in Jerusalem…
Let’s also declare PSALM 133:1 together:
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”
SHAVUOT/PENTECOST:
Holy Spirit pour out on Your people! Shavuot/Pentecost is coming. The Holy Spirit pour out on Your people!
ACTS 2:1-4:
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly, a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit enabled them.
Verses 17-21: “In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions; your old men will dream dreams. Even on My servants, both men and women, I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heavens above, and signs on the earth below; blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
And, everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved!
PRAYER:
FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT BEING POURED OUT – ON THE BODY OF MESSIAH – AND ON THE NATION, ITSELF.
FOR SALVATION IN ISRAEL – ACCORDING TO ROMANS 11:25-26:
“I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of Gentiles has come in, and in this way, “all Israel will be saved.” As it is written: ‘The Deliver will come from Zion; He will turn godlessness away from Jacob.’”
PRAY FOR WONDERS IN THE HEAVENS ABOVE, AND SIGNS ON THE EARTH BELOW. PRAY FOR MIRACLES AND HEALINGS, AS YESHUA IS LIFTED UP – THAT HE WILL DRAW ALL MEN TO HIMSELF!
COME YESHUA COME!
