Israel and the Nations

GPW News and Prayer Update

 

We praise God for an unexpected quiet Ramadan, which is officially over now. The convergence, this year, did not turn violent. There were a few terrorist attacks, but for the most part, it was orderly on the Temple Mount and in Jerusalem. We thank the Lord for this!  We know that we must keep up our prayers as the enemy may have a delay tactic in place, yet to be revealed and released.

 

Israel has had recent successes in killing high level terrorists that were intent on the annihilation of Israel:

 

*On Wednesday, April 10^th, Israel killed three sons of Ismail Haniyah, the most senior political leader of Hamas, who lives in Qatar. The Hamas terrorists, and other family members, were killed by an Israeli air strike on the Gaza Strip, near a refugee camp in Gaza City.

 

*On April 1^st, Israel killed seven IRGC members of Iran’s elite corps who were meeting in Syria. This was done in the compound next to the Iranian Embassy in Syria, considered by Iran to be sovereign Iranian territory.

 

PRAYER ALERT:

*Israel is now on the highest of alerts, bracing for a possible Iranian retaliation strike on targets in Israel, or globally.

 

*The IDF has cancelled leave for its air force pilots, and its combat soldiers, and has deployed air defense systems throughout the country.

 

*Israel has threatened Iran with “mutually assured destruction capabilities,” if Iran attacks Israel directly.  

 

*The U.S. chief of CENTCOM is currently in Israel, to assure the Israeli government that the United States will back Israel if Iran attacks. This is the U.S. Central Command responsible for defending and promoting U.S. interests in the Middle East, as well as Asia, including the strategic waterways in these areas.  (Iran has threatened to close the Straits of Hormuz, which would initiate a regional war if they decided to do this).

 

*Iran could use the Houthi’s to strike Eilat again. Pray for Eilat!

A recent report on “X” said: “According to a U.S. official, the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group and several other Coalition Naval Vessels have moved off the Coast of Western Yemen and in the direction of the Northern Red Sea in order to more easily defend against any Large-Scale Missile and/or Drone Attack launched against Israel or U.S. Navy Ships by the Houthis, Iran, or other Iranian-Backed Proxy Groups.”

 

*Geo-politically, if you look at a map of the Middle East region, we are seeing the advancement of the Iranian “Shia Crescent” -- a move that is meant to conquer Israel by establishing proxies in nations that surround Israel.

 

*In this regard, it was reported, last week that Iran is trying to cause unrest and instability in the Kingdom of Jordan, in order to try and overthrow the monarchy there. This would allow Jordanian Palestinians the ability to rule and reign in Jordan.  

 

Pray for stability in Jordan! Israel’s eastern border with Jordan is volatile. Terrorists have attempted to breach that border often. Keep a watchful eye on this part of the Middle East region, in prayer!

 

THE CURRENT MILITARY SITUATION IN ISRAEL (from military experts):

 

*There are still thousands of Hamas terrorists in Gaza, and 4-6 brigades that have not been eliminated by the IDF. Hamas controls Rafah and they control the Philadelphi Corridor in the south, where they are able to smuggle weapons from the Sinai into Gaza. Arms are continuing to flow through the tunnels from Egypt to Gaza.

 

*There have been several attempts by Iran to push weapons into Judea and Samaria, through their Iranian proxies.

 

*There has been an increase in the mobilization of Israeli Arabs by radical Palestinians. This is threatening the radicalization of Israeli Arabs in what Israel calls “the 5^th column.” This is part of the high alert inside Israel.

 

*There is, reportedly, a Russian presence of soldiers on the Syrian Golan Heights.

 

*Israel still sees a larger war ahead in the north, and is actively preparing for it. (Soldiers serving in the south were released to their bases and homes for a few weeks. Many just got their orders to go to the north to train).

 

*Israel is seeking allies to help them defend the country in the north. Israel feels alone, otherwise.

 

*Israel is better prepared now in regard to weaponry, military preparedness of units; practicing and training for the northern scenario.

 

*A diplomatic solution is still possible.

 

SIGNS AND SIGNALS INTERNATIONALLY:

Recently, we saw the reports of the earthquake that devastated parts of Taiwan; then, the earthquake near LEBANON, N.J.  that was felt in NYC and Long Island, N.Y.  Then, several photographs of lightening striking the torch of the Stature of Liberty, as a signal warning. Another sign was the recent solar eclipse in North America.  These signs point to several prophecies in the Bible. But, the one that stands out that is most prevalent right now is this:

 

Matthew 24:6-8: "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of the birth pangs."

 

The Lord highlighted:  "Nation against nation; kingdom against kingdom."

 

We are getting a clearer picture of what could lead to Psalm 83.

But, the good news is: "The kingdoms of this world shall become the Kingdom of our God and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and forever.” (from Revelation 11:15).

 

BATTLE STRATEGIES AND PROMISES IN WAR (expanded from post published in April 2024):

OUR CURRENT POSITION AS PROPHETIC WATCHMEN IN THIS HEAVENLY BATTLE:

*Having Done Everything, Stand Firm! (See Ephesians 6:13).

This is the hour we are in right now! At our post, standing firm, affirming that God is in control).

 

*Keep In Mind WHO reigns:

 

Exodus 15:18: “The LORD reigns forever and ever!”

 

*Stay In The Shelter Of The Most High God; Take Refuge In Him; Abide Under The Shadow Of The Almighty; Stay Under His Wings, Until The Disaster Has Passed: 

 

Psalm 91; Psalm 57:1; Isaiah 2: verses 10, 19, 21. 

 

Isaiah 2:19: “People will flee to caves in the rocks and to holes in the ground from the fearful presence of the LORD and the splendor of His majesty, when He rises to shake the earth!”

 

Isaiah 26:20: “Go into your houses, My people, and shut the door behind you. Hide yourselves for a little while until God's anger is over.”

 

*LISTEN, To The Still Small Voice Of The Lord: The Lord was not in the wind; He was not in the earthquake; He was not in the fire. Then, came a gentle whisper. He was in the gentle whisper -- in the still small voice).  (See 1 Kings 19:11-13).

 

*This Is The Lord’s Answer To The Chaos and Cataclysmic Events:

HE is our refuge and strength; do not fear; dwell in His Holy Place; God is with us; He is our fortress. BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD!  (See Psalm 46).

 

*Who Is The LORD, And What Has He Promised To Us:

 

Exodus 15:3: “The Lord is a Warrior. The LORD is His name!”

 

*WE DECLARE: You, Lord are the Head of the Heavenly Hosts; You, Lord, are the Commander of the Armies of Heaven; and of the Armies of Israel!

 

*HE IS GOING TO PROTECT US: 

 

Malachi 3:6: “For I am the LORD, I do not change [but remain faithful to My covenant with you]. That is why you, O sons of Jacob, have not come to an end.” 

 

He is not going to allow us to be consumed in Israel, no matter how strong the enemy seems!

 

*GOD HAS A SECRET POWER FORCE:   It’s His right hand and His right arm.  When the enemy overplays his wicked hand, the LORD uses HIS own right hand to strike down and devastate His opponent.  (See Exodus 15:6).

 

Psalm 44:3-4: “It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your face, for You loved them.”

 

*WHOSE SIDE IS GOD ON during these fiery trials and battles: Joshua 5:13-15.

 

*WE DO NOT FIGHT AGAINST FLESH & BLOOD, but against the principalities and powers of the air.  (See Ephesians 6:12).

 

*IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, we will see His victory over our enemies: 

 

Psalm 118:10: “Many enemies were around me; but I destroyed them by the power of the LORD!”

 

*OUR ROCK EQUIPS US FOR THE BATTLE:  Psalm 144:1-2;  2 Samuel 22:35).

*HOSTILE NATIONS ARE SURROUNDING US. HERE IS GOD’S STRATEGY:  

 

Psalm 18:39: “You give me strength for the battle and victory over my enemies.”

 

Psalm 18:47: “He is the God who pays back those who harm me. He subdues the nations under me.”

 

*HE IS OUR SHIELD AND GLORY: We will win:  

 

Psalm 3:3: “But thou, O LORD, art a shield about me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.”

 

Psalm 60:12: “Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies.”

 

(As believers in Messiah Jesus, we are assured a victory, because of who HE IS! Whatever we do in preparing for the conflict, and then entering the battle, it is only “through God” that we can do valiantly, and be fearless and bold!)

 

*HERE ARE OUR MARCHING ORDERS:

Joshua 1:9: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

 

This is how we fight our battles: IN HIM!

Israel and the Nations

The battlefront for Israel’s security and sovereignty over its own land, “eretz Israel,” now extends to several battlegrounds: The spiritual battleground, the military battleground, the political and diplomatic battlegrounds, and the social battleground in society.

 

SPIRITUAL BATTLEGROUND:

 

To the degree that prophetic watchmen and intercessors focus on the heavenly realms through consistent, entreating prayer, touching the heart of God… His will is carried forth. The Lord is providing an open portal, for those who are rising into the Spirit realm and entering in…  

 

According to 2 Corinthians 10:4, our weapons of warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God, for the pulling down of strongholds. These are not weapons of the world. Instead, these weapons have divine power to demolish these strongholds.

 

Watchmen are called to use that divine power towards the knocking down of these spiritual strongholds in heavenly places.

 

What Israel cannot do, in the natural to defeat the enemy, the Lord is using watchmen and intercessors to do, in destroying enemy fortresses, by the power and Spirit of the living God!

 

Today, as in other times in the modern history of Israel, what is at stake is the security, sovereignty, and survival of the Jewish State. We all know that God will preserve His land and His people, but at what cost?  

There is, currently, a move of the Lord in Israel, to pull down enemy forces in spiritual realms that are causing Israelis to choose idolatry over the God of Israel. Believers are praying that Israelis will come out of a spiritual death, as well as, praying to prevent more deaths in this war that is being fought in the south and in the north of Israel.

 

This takes a greater measure on the part of watchmen and intercessors to entreat the Lord in consistent prayer.

 

Israel is facing a formidable enemy. It is a battle that Satan is driving against the Lord, Himself. Yet, the LORD is victorious!

 

The majority of the Jewish People, currently, walk in blindness; their eyes veiled in idolatry and sin.

 

Recently, we saw a united effort at the Western Wall, to seek God, in the only way the people of Israel know how… through the “Shema.”  This is the most important prayer in all of Judaism.  “Here O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.”  (Shema Israel, Adonai Elohenu, Adonai Echad).

 

To say the Lord is “One,” but to seek after idols, is contrary, confusing, false, and deceptive.  The bottom line:  Israel needs to be grounded in Yeshua… Jesus, the Messiah!

As we prepare the way of the Lord; for a time when “All Israel Will Be Saved” (Romans 11:25-26); as God turns our focus to bringing Jews into His saving grace, the enemy will continue to try to stir up: calamity, chaos, death, and destruction.

 

But, God’s people, the Body of Messiah, are rising up to stop this, through the governmental anointing. There will be no end of the increase of His government, to order it and establish it with judgement and justice, according to Isaiah 9:6-7.

 

THE GUARDIAN OF ISRAEL:

The Lord is looking for those who are willing to rebuild that wall of righteousness that guards the land and the people. Are you one of those “shomrim" (guards)?  This is a priority in this Esther and Mordechai season for global watchmen… to be a “shomer” (a guard) in the Household of God…  for the House of Israel.

 

Esther, with the help of Mordechai, and with the approval of her king, was able to get a new decree, signed and sealed with the king’s signet ring, to give the Jews a way to defend themselves, after Haman’s wicked plot to annihilate them. It worked!  Yet, it is not a one-time deal! The Fast of Esther, the Feast of Purim, this year, is perhaps one of the most vulnerable times in modern history for the Jewish People. During this Convergence Season, we need the Esther’s and Mordechai’s, going before the King of Kings, seeking in prayer, for much greater protection over the Jews.

 

Carry this with the Lord! He is the ultimate "Shomer,” the “Keeper”, the “Guard” of Israel. But, we have our place in this, as we guard over His territory that He has given us, in the Spirit realm; looking out from our watchtowers.

 

Psalm 121 (in “God’s Word Translation”):

“I look up toward the mountains. Where can I find help? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let you fall. Your guardian will not fall asleep. Indeed, the Guardian of Israel never rests or sleeps. The Lord is your Guardian. The Lord is the shade over your right hand. The sun will not beat down on you during the day, nor will the moon at night. The Lord guards you from every evil. He guards your life. The Lord guards you as you come and go, now and forever.”

 

It's still a spiritual battleground!

 

Nehemiah rebuilt the Wall and gates of Jerusalem that were laying in ruins, and vulnerable to attack. He closed the gaps. He faced great opposition.  (Nehemiah 2:20; 4:7-9).

 

David had the courage to stand up against the enemy, with boldness! After Goliath threatened David, he was able to kill the giant, miraculously…. defying Goliath’s threats. David did it “in the name of the Lord!”

1 Samuel 17:45: “David said to the Philistine, ‘You come against me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies – whom you have defiled.’ ”

 

As watchmen and intercessors these are the days to call on the LORD of HOSTS!  It is a charge, a command, for those engaged in God’s heavenly army, on the spiritual battle lines for Israel…  It is for you, to be released and sent into action!

 

During the time that the Israelites were wandering in the desert and forgot the miracles God had done for them, the Lord wanted to destroy the people for their disobedience. It was Moses entreating the LORD for the people.

 

Psalm 106:23 states that He (the Lord), said He would destroy the people. (And, He would have done so), had not Moses, His chosen one, stepped into the gap, and stood before Him in the breach, to turn away His wrath.

 

There are other incidents of God sparing the Israelites, when they should have been judged for their unrighteousness, but the Lord listened to the prayers of Godly watchmen and intercessors who were  steady, consistent, and stationed at their post. Watching, guarding… the “Shomrim!” The “guardians,” the “keepers,” the “protectors” of Israel!

 

THE MILITARY BATTLEGROUND:

 

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has given the IDF the approval to go into Rafah and defeat Hamas, regardless of all opposition, including political and diplomatic pressure from outside the country. A majority of Israelis still believe this goal is possible… to defeat Hamas. Yet, the nations roar! On March 22, 2024, U.S. Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, met with Netanyahu, in his sixth visit to Israel. Reports indicate it was another time of challenge and pressure on the prime minister to explain Israel’s battle plans.

 

As we stand in the gap, we lift up the arms of this current prime minister, so the battle is won, and the victory prevails. (See how Aaron and Hur did this for Moses in Exodus 17:11-13).  It’s praying for those in authority over us, according to 1 Timothy 2:2.

Our intercessory prayer efforts must go towards Israelis being able to stand in unity and shared purpose at this time, even in the face of great opposition from individual nations, as well as from the corporate expression of the nations (in the UN, the EU, the international courts, etc.)  This is a primary prayer focus!

Israel still faces future military battles, especially in the north. Israel’s Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant recently declared that 2024 will be a year of war.

 

Certain things much happen before war ends in Israel…  In Ecclesiastes 3:8, the word speaks of a time of war and a time of peace. In Israel, we are in a time of war and not a time of peace. And, we should not push for peace now, except, the peace of our “Sar Shalom” … Prince of Peace. (John 14:27).

 

WHAT IS OUR PART IN THE HEAVENLY BATTLE?

 

Watchmen and Intercessors should be pushing the enemy back from the borders of Israel, in prayer.  Reports indicate that there are now 100,000 Israelis who have been displaced from their homes in the north of the country. There are thousands more that are displaced from their homes in the south of the country.  In both cases, civilians can’t go back to their homes and villages until their enemies are no longer a threat to their lives.

 

SPIRITUAL MAPPERS:

 

This is a clarion call for “Spiritual Mappers” to come forth!  Prepare a decisive plan! See where the lines of demarcation should be, that gives Israel back its necessary territory, so its people can be protected in border towns, and return to their homes in safety and security.  Define, in the Spirit realm, based on the Lord’s direction, how, where, when, and what the demilitarized zones in both the south and the north should look like. Map Out That Territory!

 

Remember: “We have not, because we ask not!”  Ask God, on Israel’s behalf, to define what Israel must have, in terms of land… at this time, in this season, to guard and protect His people, for their return.  Let the land covenants in the Word guide you.

This is part of the repairing of the land and of the lives of Israeli citizens, providing a restored dwelling place for them, so that they can receive from the LORD… restoration, renewal, and healing…

 

THE POLITICAL AND DIPLOMATIC BATTLEGROUNDS:

 

While there are times when international leaders have interfered in Israeli politics, when has it been so public and so blunt as now?  When in the history of this nation has Israel been pushed and shoved by outside forces to go to new elections in the middle of a two-front war?

 

This outspoken opposition and disregard for the current prime minister… this kind of interference… is meant to not only humiliate and defeat Israel’s war plans, but to weaken and control its leaders… so that future decisions (like pressure to accept peace treaties; and a two-state solution), will be made for Israel, not by Israel -- controlled by outside political and diplomatic forces.  But… GOD!!

 

Our focus needs to be a hedge of protection around the prime minister, in the Spirit realm, and his cabinets, and his government. Yes, “for such a time as this,” so that he is not subject to the curses and cunning plans of the nations.

 

While the nations rage, and try to cause disunity in Israel; to enlarge the divisions among the people; we need to come together, to close the breach.  And, with our armor on, stop the enemy from advancing. Israel’s destiny is in the hands of the Lord God Almighty, not mere men!

 

In Psalm 2:1-2, the psalmist wonders: Why are the nations so angry?  Why do they waste their time with futile plans? Why are they in an uproar (in turmoil against God), and why do the people devise a vain and hopeless plot?

 

The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot against the LORD and against His anointed One. Yes, they take their stand. And, the rulers conspire together.

 

In Psalm 83:2, we get some answers in the word about another such battle:  Look, Your enemies are in an uproar. Those who hate you hold their heads high.  

Psalm 83:3: With cunning, and schemes, they lay crafty and shrewd plans against Your people. They consult, and they conspire against Your precious, cherished, sheltered ones.

(This is where the scriptures show wicked forces in nations pinpointing Israel). 

 

Psalm 83:4: ‘Come,’ they say, ‘let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.’

 

Psalm 83:5: With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance. They conspire in one accord, in a unanimous decision. They consult and they make a covenant together. It’s a confederation that is, ultimately, against the LORD!

 

Psalm 83 focuses on specific nations in the Middle East region, but it is still a type and shadow of other nations that are rising-up against the Lord, and against Israel, even at this time.

 

The attitude of the nations will become more and more of a focus, as the enemy begins to take over governments, and causes these governments to turn against the Lord, and against His People Israel.  The Nations Are God’s Testing Ground!

 

THE SOCIAL BATTLEGROUND OF ISRAELI SOCIETY:

 

The more the Body of Messiah comes together in repentance, praying for its own purification, remembering 2 Chronicles 7:14, the more the Lord is hearing our prayers, forgiving the sins in our hearts, and healing our land.  

 

The healing that is taking place is bringing Israel’s sins as a nation to the surface. Israel is displaying its idolatry. Every sin against the Lord is coming forth.

 

“All we like sheep have gone astray. Each one of us has turned to our own way. And, the Lord has laid on Him, the iniquity of us all.”  (Isaiah 53:6).

The enemy would like to use the sin and the rebellion of the House of Israel, to bring greater accusations. It’s a toxic and lethal strategy to try and keep Israel from being able to fully prepare to fulfill its calling and destiny on the earth, as a “light to the nations.”

 

In prayer, we must declare the Lord’s Word over Israel, that this nation will stay united, under God, in relationship to Him and to one another; with contrite hearts before the Lord.  During this season we pray for full repentance in Israel, and hearts radically changed for the Glory of God.

 

A FEW OF GOD’S PROMISES TOWARDS ISRAEL IN THE BOOK OF ISAIAH:

 

Isaiah 49:3:  He said to Me, ‘You are My Servant Israel, in whom I will display My splendor, My glory.’

 

 Isaiah 62:1: For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake, I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.

 

Isaiah 62:6-7: I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem. They shall never hold their peace, day, or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent. And, give Him no rest till He establishes. And, till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Israel and the Nations

We are bracing for a major outbreak of violence on the Temple Mount at Ramadan, which several Israeli leaders have warned about, including Israel’s Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant.

However, through the prayers of many watchmen across the world, we trust the Lord to intervene, and protect His land, including His beloved Zion!

This is one of those moments, where we can accomplish much as an intercessor in our prayer room, entreating the Lord for Jerusalem and all of Israel, during this month (March 10-April 10, 2024).

Isaiah 26:20: “Come, My people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by.”

There are concerns throughout Israel that the rage of Moslems, who have been inspired by Hamas, could cause increased violence in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria, as well as mixed Jewish-Arab cities, as happened during Ramadan over consecutive years in the past.

Hamas wants to ignite the Middle East!  We say, “NO, in Jesus’ name!”

We remain thankful that the Lord is raising up worshippers who are taking this time seriously, intent on breaking the wicked plans of the enemy, through praise and thankfulness before the throne of God. He hears the cries of His faithful ones!

We are reminded that during this month are the days of convergence:  Ramadan, the Esther Fast, Purim, and Christian Holy Week. At one point, it’s a convergence day… March 24, 2024.

There is also the looming war in the north. If Iran does not call on Hezbollah to expand the current battle now, reports indicate Israel will look to expand it in late Spring, early Summer.

We declare:

The LORD is all-knowing, and HIS will be done!  HE is the decision-maker!

Psalm 47:8: “God reigns over the nations; God is seated on His holy throne.”

1 Chronicles 29:11: “Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the Kingdom; You are exalted as head over all.”

Psalm 89:11: “The heavens are Yours, and also the earth. The earth and its fullness You founded.”

PRAYER FOR THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT DURING THIS CRITICAL TIME:

1 Timothy 2:1-4: “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

CRAFTED PRAYER:

We pray for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, the security cabinet/the war cabinet, and all those decision-makers who are in this current government. We declare there is no mediator between God and man but Yeshua, our Lord. Bring these authorities, these leaders, into this knowledge, and give them the wisdom of Solomon, and beyond, so they can direct and guide the citizens of Israel, as a shepherd does his sheep. We trust in You Lord, to calm the waters, and stay the enemy from trying to stir up violent days during Ramadan!  In the name of Yeshua, our Messiah!

THIS IS A BATTLE CRY; THE TRUMPET HAS SOUNDED!

Psalm 144:1: “Praise the LORD, my protector! He trains me for battle and prepares me for war!”

WHAT HAS GOD CALLED YOU TO DO?

As a friend said recently, it is important to do what the Lord is calling you to do. In an army you have different units. If God calls you to worship, then you worship and use that armor to defeat the enemy.

If it is to declare scripture, then you declare scripture. If it is to take up arms in the Spirit, and battle in the heavenlies, then carry your arrows and sling, and wear your armor, and go on the front lines, and war that way.

As this friend said, we are all in the same army, God’s army, yet with different assignments. We need to support one another. Respect each other. We are all one in the Kingdom of God.

It’s that harmony as “one in the Spirit” that is so important. We all take our place in the battle.

FACTS ABOUT YAHYA SINWAR, THE HEAD OF HAMAS -- ISRAEL’S ENEMY:

In 1989, Sinwar was sent to prison in Israel to serve four life sentences for killing Israelis. Many times, he tried to escape, but was caught.

In 2008, he went through surgery by Israeli doctors to remove a tumor in his brain, that otherwise, would have caused his death. Israeli doctors saved his life!

In 2011, as part of a deal to free abducted Israeli soldier, Galid Shalit, there was a prisoner exchange. Shalit was exchanged for over 1,000 Palestinian prisoners. Sinwar was one of those released. Today, Sinwar is responsible for starting the current Hamas war against Israel, which to-date has caused the deaths of about 1,500 Israelis.

Sinwar is Israel’s enemy in Gaza that, so far, is refusing to release Israeli hostages. He wants a deal like the one where he was released before. This man needs an encounter with the living God!  Even he can be set free in receiving Jesus as the Messiah!  (Note: the name, “SIN-WAR”).

Matthew 16 :18: “And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this Rock, I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it!”

PRAYER:

*It’s time to recognize that the Rock of which His Church is built, will prevail. And, we declare that Israel will also prevail!

*It’s time to pray for our enemies to choose life over death; to choose heaven instead of hell!

*There is a battle in the heavenlies that is intense in this Conversion season, and God’s armies are at war. And, the battle is, once again, being stirred up over the Temple Mount! It is the place of THE spiritual battle of Who will reign on His Holy mountain!

We declare:

Mathew 25:31: “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne!

Revelation 5:13: “And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: ‘To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!’ "

CRAFTED PRAYER: Lord of Hosts, the Commander of the Armies of Heaven and of Israel, we ask You for greater revelation to see more clearly what You are doing in heaven and on earth.  We ask You to stop the threats; stop the violence; and, supernaturally, SHOW UP!  We ask you, Lion of Judah, to take up your position and roar over Israel this day. May every threat be empty. May every plan of the enemy fizzle out. May nothing interfere or intercept or harass Your plans through Your people (who minister in Israel), in Yeshua’s name! And, may Your plans for Israel’s salvation come in like a flood that the whole world witnesses!

Jesus said, in John 14:27: “My peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. “

We look to Yeshua, the Sar Shalom, the Prince of Peace, to bring His divine peace into the city of Jerusalem, and into all of Israel. Peace be upon this nation!

INSIGHTS REGARDING DANIEL’S SPIRITUAL AND EMOTIONAL STATE -- FROM CHAPTER 10:

Daniel 10:1-2:

“In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a revelation was given to Daniel. Its message was true, and it concerned a great war. The understanding of the message came to him in a vision.”

At that time Daniel, mourned for three weeks:

*There was a revelation, and a message. It concerned events certain to happen in the future.

*In the Amplified Bible it says that it referred to a great conflict (warfare, misery).

*Daniel understood the message because he was given insight during the vision.

 Daniel goes on a special type of fast, which today we call the “Daniel Fast.” He says:

Daniel 10:3:  

“I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.”

Then, in Daniel 10:4-7, Daniel has a heavenly vision, standing on the banks of the great river, the Tigris:

“I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. His body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms, and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.”

“I, Daniel, was the only one who saw the vision; those who were with me did not see it, but such terror overwhelmed them that they fled and hid themselves.”

Daniel could handle the heavenly vision. But, because his friends did not see what Daniel saw, they were scared, ran, and hid away.

APPLICATION:

These are the times we are coming into: Some will be able to handle the supernatural realm, and in their weakness, be strengthened. But, also, there will be those who see nothing, and are scared by the supernatural.

Either way, we are coming into times where we will be able to see and enter into the realm of the Spirit as we have never experienced before!

Daniel 10:8-10:

“So, I was left alone, gazing at this great vision; I had no strength left, my face turned deathly pale and I was helpless.

Then I heard him speaking, and as I listened to him, I fell into a deep sleep, my face to the ground. A hand touched me and sent me trembling on my hands and knees.”

 

Daniel 10:11:

“He said, ‘Daniel, you who are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, and stand up, for I have now been sent to you.’ And when he said this to me, I stood up trembling.” 

Daniel is being allowed to see into the Spiritual realm in such a mighty way that it causes his flesh to be weakened. He also is afraid about this unknown reality he has just entered.

Daniel 10:12:

“Then he continued: ‘Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.’ ”

APPLICATION: 

Do not fear. Set your mind to gain understanding. Humble yourself before God.  Be assured that He hears you, but there may be a delay in getting a message to you because of the heavenly battles being fought.

THE WAR IN THE HEAVENLIES:

Daniel 10:13-14:

“But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me (stood in opposition to me), for twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the archangels (chief of the celestial princes), came to help me, because I was detained with the king of Persia. Now I have come to explain to you (Daniel) what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”

“While he was saying this to me, I (Daniel) bowed my face toward the ground and was speechless.”

Not only was there a delay of three weeks, but even what Daniel was going to hear was about a “time yet to come.” 

APPLICATION:

In the future, the things that we are going to be shown are going to leave us speechless!  Increasingly, we are going to see things more ahead now, as watchmen. 

Prepare, test what you get; see how God confirms; learn from that; let it build your faith that you can see ahead! Timing is key!

Daniel 10:16-18:

“Then, one who looked like a man touched my lips, and I (Daniel) opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing before me, ‘I am overcome with anguish because of the vision, my lord, and I feel very weak. How can I, your servant, talk with you, my lord? My strength is gone, and I can hardly breathe.’ Again, the one who looked like a man touched me and gave me strength.”

Daniel was having trouble physically, and it was affecting him spiritually. He could not comprehend, by himself, what he was being shown. Not until the one who looked like a man, touched, and strengthened Daniel again.

Daniel 10:19:

“He said, ‘Don't be afraid. You are highly respected. Everything is alright! Be strong! Be strong!’ As he talked to me, I became stronger. I said, ‘Sir, tell me what you came to say. You have strengthened me.’ ”

Daniel had to be strengthened in order to be able to hear this messenger.

Daniel 10:20:

“So, he said, ‘Do you know why I have come to you? Soon I will return to fight against the prince of Persia, and when I go, the prince of Greece will come.’ ”

Today, there is still a spiritual struggle over the land of Israel. The prince of Persia has not fully been dealt with!

Daniel 10:21:

“But I will tell you what is inscribed in the writings of truth. There is no one who will support me; no one who stands firmly with me, and strengthens himself against these [hostile spirit forces], except Michael, your prince [the guardian of your nation].

APPLICATION:

This gives insight into those spiritual forces of the Lord that stand in the gap for us, the Body of Messiah, worldwide, and fight the principalities and powers of the air who are the Lord’s enemies.

As in the times of the sons of Issachar, as we see more in the Spirit realm, we will understand more clearly “what Israel should do.”
