JUNE 2, 2020 PRAYER UPDATE

Israel and the Nations

GIVING THANKS TO GOD IN THE WORD AND IN PRAYER:

O LORD, You are my God. I will exalt You; I will praise Your name. For You have worked wonders… plans formed long ago in perfect faithfulness. (Isaiah 25:1).

Lord, whatever we do, whether in word or deed, we do it all in Your name, Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through You. (Colossians 3:17).

Though the nations around us follow their idols, we will follow the LORD our God forever and ever. (Micah 4:5).

We always give thanks to God, the Father, for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah. (Ephesians 5:20).

Let the peace of the Messiah rule in our hearts, for to this we were called as members of one body... And, we are thankful. (Colossians 3:15).

Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is Yours. Yours, LORD is the Kingdom You are exalted as head over all! (1 Chronicles 29:11).

Isaiah 12:4: “In that wonderful day we will sing: ‘Thank the LORD! Praise His name! Tell the nations what He has done. Let them know how mighty He is!’ ”

Colossians 1:12: “And, give thanks to the Father who has made us fit to receive our share of the inheritance of God’s people in Light.”

PRAYER FOR HEALING AND PEACE IN THE UNITED STATES: For Minneapolis, Washington D.C., and other cities, where there are racial tensions, riots, demonstrations, protests, lootings, burglaries burning of buildings, fires, and all kinds of acts of civil disobedience and lawlessness:

Rise up, O God, defend Your cause!  Remember how the fool mocks You all day long. (Psalm 74:22).

Lord, we pray that You will take away the anger and frustration of Americans in these cities; that you will uproot those who are trying to cause this major upheaval. God, convict the hearts of disobedient ungodly men and women who are fighting against Your order and who are in rebellion against Your ways. Deliver them; heal them; bring them into salvation.

May the outpouring of Your Holy Spirit bring a great harvest. Continue to wake-up the Church to pray for forgiveness of sin in America. And, as people turn from their wicked ways, may they fall in love with Jesus, the Messiah!

We put our hope in You! And, we remain confident of this:  We WILL see Your goodness Lord in the land of the living! (Psalm 27:13).

Oh, Lord GOD, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for You!   (Jeremiah 32:17).

You have said in Your Word, in Jeremiah 32:27: “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for Me?”

Nothing is impossible, difficult or too hard for You, O Lord, as You are the Master of the Universe!  And, we put our trust in You and You alone!

You can calm the oceans and the great seas. You can also calm the city streets of the United States!

Lord, they can become cities of righteousness, faithful cities, when You bring restoration. So, we ask You to restore the hearts of men, and save them from every form of wickedness and evil. Turn their hearts towards You, Lord!

Report from Washington, D.C.:

Demonstrations have been in front of the White House. Also, St. John’s Church burned. It was considered the church of the presidents.

Gates were put up in front of the Supreme Court and U.S. Capitol with mega security deployed. The intercessors there are walking the front sidewalks declaring justice and order to prevail over lawlessness and chaos.

They asked for prayer over the U.S. Capitol, the Secret Service, Police and Security teams. Pray for the Mayor, as well, who activated the National Guard and imposed a curfew.

PRAYER FOR U.S. PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP:

Trump has the position and the authority to rule the United States at this time, and we need to pray for him. Our friend in Washington, D.C. said that the riots there have been targeting the White House. At least 60 Secret Service agents were injured in past days. Trump was taken to the bunker around 8 p.m. Saturday night. He has been ridiculed for that. He also took a walk over to St. John’s church on Monday, June 1, with his Bible in hand. This was a strong statement from the president about the values he shares.

Scriptures to pray into for Trump:

Psalm 43:1: “Vindicate me, my God, and plead my cause against an unfaithful nation. Rescue me from those who are deceitful and wicked.”

Psalm 38:12: “Those who seek my life lay snares; those who wish me harm speak destruction, and plot deceit all day long.”

Lamentations 3:59: “You have seen O LORD, the wrong done to me; uphold my cause.”

PRAYER FOR ISRAELI PRESIDENT BENJAMIN NETANYAHU IN HIS ON-GOING INDICTMENT TRIAL:

1 Samuel 24:15: “May the LORD be our judge and decide between you and me. May He take notice and plead my case and deliver me from your hand.”

Psalm 35:24: “Vindicate me by Your righteousness, O LORD my God, and do not let them gloat over me.”

PRAYER FOR THE NEW ISRAELI GOVERNMENT:

Already, there are budget cuts in government ministries. At least 16 diplomatic posts were cut from Israel’s Foreign Ministry by the Finance Ministry. Some of those diplomats were supposed to be promoted to a post oversees. This has angered the new Foreign Minister Gaby Ashkenazi.

The annexation issue is still a hot topic. Netanyahu is trying to bring calm and peace to his political party, Likud (that does not believe in a Palestinian State), and to the settlers (who are opposed to the Trump plan because there are settlers in outlying areas of Judea and Samaria who will be forced to move).

Annexation remains a delicate issue that could start a Middle East conflict by early July or before. Israeli Defense Minister, Benny Gantz, has instructed Israeli Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, to accelerate his preparations for any possibilities that would influence the region. The Shin Bet and the IDF are planning to hold war games, simulating responses to annexation, such as a broad wave of violence, increased terrorism, or war.

One of Gantz’s quotes is troubling for Bible-believers:  “President Trump’s peace plan is an opportunity to set up and promote permanent borders for the State of Israel.”

Who, but God alone, has the right to set up or promote permanent borders for Israel?

Netanyahu and Gantz want to strive for peace while maintaining security, which includes trying to preserve Israel’s peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan.

A likely scenario is Arab riots on the streets of Arab countries who oppose annexation, which presents complications for Arab leaders.

Pray for Israeli leaders to have wisdom in carrying out sovereignty plans. Pray that as they move forward, God gives strategies to avoid violence, terrorism, or war. Pray that relationships on a diplomatic level remain in place, and that the enemy will not be able to affect those relationships, as the annexation plan goes through, in Jesus’ name!

Romans 12:18: “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”

Romans 14:19: “So then, let us pursue what leads to peace and to mutual edification.”

COVED-19 UPDATE – RESURGENCE IN ISRAEL AND THE U.K.

It’s a time of waiting -- inside the cave; outside as the storm begins to form again; back inside the cave.

It reminds us of waves… rolling in with restrictions; rolling out with freedoms; rolling in with restrictions again.

The last part of Luke 21:25, into verses 26, 27, and 28 says… “On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Yes, the nations will be in turmoil, dismayed, distressed, because of the roaring of the sea, the surging of the waves, the strange tides.

People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken.

But, THEN, we will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

The Word says, that when these things begin to take place, straighten up, and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.

The Word also says in Luke 21:34 that we must be careful, or our hearts will be weighed down with the anxieties of life, and a trap. So, be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.

The Lord Almighty is teaching us how to watch, wait, and pray....

So, I declare to You Lord, that I wait for You; my soul waits. And, in Your Word, I put my hope. (Psalm 130:5).

Jesus, You told Your disciples a story about how they should keep on praying and never give up. (Luke 18:1). So, we do this now… We pray, and we won’t give up, until salvation and deliverance comes for the whole world!

SITUATION ANALYSIS -- 158

Jerusalem, Israel

MAY 26, 2020 PRAYER UPDATE

Israel and the Nations

DECLARING THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS OUTPOURING AT PENTECOST:

Matthew 6:10: “Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

Matthew 6:33: “But, seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and, all these things shall be added unto you.”

Numbers 14:21: “But, indeed, as I live, all the earth will be filled with the glory of the LORD.”

Habakkuk 2:14: “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.”

Isaiah 6:3: “And, they were calling to one another: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory.’ ”

Romans 14:17: “For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit!”

Romans 5:13: “Now, may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit!”

PRAY FOR THE CONGREGATIONS IN ISRAEL AND THROUGHOUT THE WORLD:

Acts 9:31: “Then, the Church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria experienced a time of peace. It grew in strength and numbers, living in the fear of the Lord and the encouragement of the Holy Spirit.”

Acts 2:46-47: “Every day they continued to meet together in the Temple courts. They broke break in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts. Praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And, the Lord added to their number, daily; those who were being saved.”

Acts 16:5: “So, the churches were strengthened in the faith, and grew daily in numbers.”

Romans 14:18-19: “For whoever serves the Messiah in this way is pleasing to God, and approved by man. Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Let us aim for harmony in the Church and try to build each other up.”

PRAY FOR THE OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND MIRACLES:

Exodus 15:11: “Who among the gods is like You, O LORD? Who is like You – majestic in holiness, revered with praises, performing wonders?”

Many people received healings and miracles at the hands of Jesus. But, His disciples also were used mightily by the Lord….

Acts 5:12: “The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And, all the people met together in Solomon’s Colonnade.”

At Iconium:  Acts 14:2: “So, Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of His grace by enabling them to perform signs and wonders.”

Acts 19:11-12: “God did extraordinary miracles through the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick and the diseases and evil spirits left them.”

PRAY FOR PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN NETANYAHU AND HIS INDICTMENT TRIAL:

Can we pray in faith (as the trial is polarizing Israeli society)?

We declare, in Israeli society, Isaiah 45:24: “They will say of me, ‘In the LORD alone are deliverance and strength.’ All who have raged against Him (the LORD) will come to Him and be put to shame.”

You say in scripture Lord: “See now that I Myself am He!  There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life. I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of My hand.” (Deut. 32:39).

So, we pray for Netanyahu, the leader of Israel right now, Lord…

Psalm 20:1: “May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.”

By faith, we declare, Acts 9:15-16: “Go!” said the Lord: “This man is My chosen instrument to carry My name before the Gentiles and their kings, and before the people of Israel. I will show him how much he must suffer for My name.”

Regarding the court hearings…

This is what the Sovereign Lord says to the Israeli judges, prosecutors, and defenders in this indictment trial:

Zechariah 8:16-17: “These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other, and render true and sound judgment in your courts. Don’t scheme against each other. Stop your love of telling lies that you swear are the truth. I hate all these things, says the LORD.”

We seek You Lord to bring silence to all accusers on both sides of this court case, according to Isaiah 32:17: “The work of righteousness will be peace; the service of righteousness will be quiet confidence forever. “

We pray that those who are creating chaos will come into knowledge of You, God:  “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

We proclaim that regardless of the outcome of this trial, this will bring Israelis to seek Your face, and come into salvation. We declare:  “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 3:2).

For Netanyahu, we pray especially, according to Psalm 69:29: “But as for me, afflicted and in pain-- may your salvation, God, protect me.”

Psalm 32:10: “All kinds of troubles will strike the wicked, but your kindness shields those who trust you, LORD.”

Teach Benjamin Netanyahu Your way O LORD; that he will walk in Your truth; and unite his heart with Yours, God, that he might reverence and fear Your name!

For we proclaim, according to Psalm 124:8: “Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

PRAY FOR THE NEW ISRAELI GOVERNMENT AND ITS MEMBERS:

We call upon this government coalition to not trust in their own strength, or wisdom, or talents, or perceived power, but to trust in the LORD, their God!

Zephaniah 3:9: "Then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that all of them may call on the name of the LORD and serve Him shoulder to shoulder.”

We pray that the Israeli people will be served with greater compassion and mercy by these political leaders in their influential positions.

We declare, according to the Word of God in Zechariah 7:10: “Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. And do not plot evil in your hearts against one another.”

Isaiah 1:17: “Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.”

This is one of the largest Security Cabinet’s in the history of Israel. Let Netanyahu and Gantz, and those in the Security Cabinet, call upon Your name, Almighty God to solve disputes, and bring them into supernatural unity!

The Lord says in Hosea 1:7: “Yet, I will have compassion on the house of Judah, and I will deliver them – not by bow or sword or war, not by horses and cavalry, but by the LORD their God.”

Psalm 20:7: “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”

Thank you Lord, that You have given the men and women in this new government Your shield of victory; Your help has made them great. (2 Samuel 22:36).

PRAY REGARDING U.S. PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP’S PEACE PLAN:

Under the plan, there are 15 Israeli Jewish settlements that would be part of a Palestinian state. They would not be guarded by the IDF if the whole plan is implemented. The settlers in these little islands within the Palestinian enclave would be forced to evacuate because of the dangers of living there so isolated.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority has, reportedly, cut civilian and military ties with Israel, as well as with the CIA in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria).

In addition, the EU is threatening Israel with sanctions. The Jordanians are saying that annexation would disrupt their peace process with Israel.

We pray for Your protection over Your land, O God, especially over Your city, Jerusalem:

Isaiah 31:5: “Like birds hovering overhead, the LORD Almighty will shield Jerusalem; He will shield it and deliver it, he will 'pass over' it and will rescue it."

Psalm 33:16: “No king is saved by his vast army; no warrior is delivered by his great strength.”

2 Samuel 22:33: “It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.”

PRAY FOR THE CEASING OF CYBER ATTACKS – THE LATEST WAR BETWEEN ISRAEL AND IRAN:

Iran tried to hit Israel’s water and sewage infrastructure through a cyber-attack. Israel, reportedly, struck back by bringing utter confusion to the shipping industry in the Straits of Hormuz. Iran has the capability of fighting Israel on the cyber war front. Israel is currently on high alert for another cyber-attack.

We pray, as David did, according to Psalm 35:1-2: “Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me! Take up shield and armor; arise and come to my aid.”

May Israel depend on God during these cyber wars and not be afraid of disruptions of strategic systems and their operational activities!

Joel 3:16: “The LORD will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem; the earth and the heavens will tremble. But the LORD will be a refuge for His people, a stronghold for the people of Israel.

COMING OUT OF LOCKDOWN AND QUARANTINE, INTO THE “NEW NORMAL”:

Pray about the anxiety and fear that people are faced with, especially believers, who know this is a new day in the Lord of new beginnings. And, they aren’t sure what is next. But, there is a sense of a paradigm shift.

We proclaim, according to Ecclesiastes 3:1: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

We declare the goodness of God, according to Jeremiah 32:42: “"This is what the LORD says: As I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will give them all the prosperity I have promised them.”

Zechariah 8:15: “So now I have determined to do good again to Jerusalem and Judah. Do not be afraid.”
